The fuel cap includes an outer cap as an outer envelope, an inner cap removably fitted in the outer cap through an opening therein, a canister located in a space between the outer cap and the inner cap for adsorbing a vaporized fuel. The fuel cap closes a fuel filler port for feeding a fuel to a fuel tank. The canister adsorbs a vaporized fuel vaporized from the fuel in the fuel tank. At least one of the outer cap and the inner cap defines a communication hole communicating with the space and an exterior. The canister includes a housing; and an adsorbent accommodated therein. The housing defines, on an end surface directed to the inner cap, an inlet for vaporized fuel and on another end surface directed to the outer cap, an outlet for gas.

A case holding mechanism includes a holding member and a member to be held thereby, one being mounted to the case and another to a body to which the case is to be held. The member to be held includes a first pair of parallel guide portions and another pair of parallel guide portions perpendicular to the one paired guide portions. The holding member disposed to be movable with respect to the guide portions therealong in a state restricted in thickness direction of the guide portions and adapted to hold the member to be held. The holding member includes a pair of slide portions slidable along outer surfaces of one paired guide portions, a lock portion extending between the paired slide portions in parallel with the one paired guide portions and engaged with the other paired guide portions, and a base portion connecting the slide portions and the lock portion.

The fuel supplying apparatus includes a reservoir to be inserted from an opening portion provided in an upper portion of a fuel tank, a tank cover for closing the opening portion of the fuel tank, and a coupling mechanism for coupling the reservoir and the fuel tank with each other so as to be mutually displaceable. The coupling mechanism includes a pivot for rotatably supporting the reservoir and a supporting member for supporting the pivot so that the pivot can be movable in an upper and lower direction of the fuel tank relative to the tank cover.

A fuel supplying apparatus includes a reservoir to be inserted from an opening portion provided in an upper portion of a fuel tank, a tank cover for closing the opening portion of the fuel tank, and a coupling mechanism for coupling the reservoir and the fuel tank with each other so as to be mutually displaceable. The coupling mechanism includes a retainer member rotatably connected to the reservoir through a predetermined pivot, and at least one coupling member for coupling the retainer member and the tank cover with each other so that the pivot can be moved in a vertical direction of the fuel tank relative to the tank cover.
