Overprint stamper and method of making the same

A roller stamp includes a stamp case and a stamp roller mounted to the stamp case for rotation. The stamp roller is made of foamed polyolefin having pores capable of being impregnated with ink. A stamp pattern is formed on the stamp roller after the stamp roller is mounted to the stamp case. After the stamp roller is mounted to the stamp case, a stamp pattern is formed on the stamp roller by using a thermal head to selectively heat and close the pores in accordance with the stamp pattern.

Method of manufacturing roller stamp

A method of producing a planar stamp including a stamp member, an ink reservoir, and a stamp frame. In the method, after fitting the ink reservoir into the stamp frame, the stamp member, without a print surface and made of a polyethylene foam sheet, is adhered to the stamp frame in order to enclose it in the stamp frame, whereby a planar stamp portion is assembled. Then, a thermal head of a print surface forming apparatus is moved along an entire surface of the stamp member, while the thermal head is in contact with the stamp member, in order to form a print surface. Lastly, ink is injected into the ink reservoir in order to impregnate the stamp member with the ink.

Method of producing a planar stamp

An improved rotary encoder where trackability and durability is an improved and a wider installation field is no longer necessary. Particularly, a rotary encoder and a rotary driver are separated. In the rotary encoder, a rotor is provided and its circumference is provided with a reflection surface and other surface resulting in reflectivity difference. Concave and convex parts are formed at the circumference of rotor and the upper surface of convex part providing the reflecting surface. A light emitting part and the light receiving part are arranged closely so that their end surfaces placed in contact through a flat contact surface, and thereby a sufficient output voltage can be obtained as compared with the other end surface structure. Moreover, the light emitting part and light receiving part are arranged adjacent circumference of the, and rotor, and adequate space is formed between the rotor and holding means for assuring free rotation under the no contact condition.

Optical rotary encoder

A pressure-sensitive element for use in a keyboard switch etc., comprising a conductive porous material which is rugged, an elastic insulator which bulges more than convex parts of the conductive porous material without covering the convex parts, and a conductive layer which opposes to the conductive porous material through the elastic insulator. When no pressure is applied, openings are formed between the convex parts of the conductive porous material and the conductive layer through the elastic insulator, whereby the pressure-sensitive element is in its nonconductive state. When a pressure is applied, the elastic insulator is deformed to bring the convex part of the conductive porous material into contact with the conductive layer, whereby the pressure-sensitive element is brought into its conductive state.

A sheet material adapted for producing pressure sensitive elements includes an electrically conductive net-shaped member having projecting and recessed portions, and an electrically insulating layer in which the net-shaped member is buried such that only the projecting and recessed portions thereof are exposed out of the insulating layer, planar members are further provided on both sides of the insulating layer, while each of the planar members is provided with a resistance layer deposited on a surface thereof facing the insulating layer, so that when a depressing force is applied across the planar members, the resistance layer deposited thereon is brought into contact with the exposed portions of the net-shaped member. A method for producing the sheet material is also defined within the scope of the invention.

Sheet material and production method thereof

In a push-button tuner including a tuning slide member which has a positioning portion in one side edge and which is slidable in a predetermined direction, a lock member which is movable in a direction orthogonal to the sliding direction of the tuning slide member and which is provided with cam member grasping means, and a cam member which is turnably supported by the lock member. The cam member comes into engagement with the positioning portion of the tuning slide member and has its position in its turning direction fixed by the cam member grasping means. The positioning portion of the tuning slide member is provided with an elastic piece. When the lock member has been thrust to the tuning slide member, the cam member comes into pressed contact with the elastic piece, and the elastic piece retreats. Thus, the abutting force between the tuning slide member and the cam member is lightened.

Push-button tuner

A push-button type tuner comprises a tuning slide member having a positioning portion on one side edge thereof and being capable of sliding in a predetermined direction, a locking member supporting a cam member and capable of moving in a direction substantially perpendicular; to the sliding direction of said tuning slide member. The cam member includes a cam portion moving with said locking member to fall in engagement with the positioning portion of said tuning slide member and a cam shaft connected to said cam portion and inserted between said locking member and a pressing member, and said pressing member moves with said locking member to press the cam member toward the locking member and hold the cam member between the pressing member and the locking member, wherein a receiving portion for receiving the periphery of the cam portion of said cam member is formed in the locking member on the side corresponding to the action point of the pressing member and the cam member is held between the action point of the pressing member and said receiving portion. In this tuner, the stability of the state of locking of the cam member is highly improved and a high reliability is attained without any shear in tuning.

Push-button type tuner

A release mechanism of a push-button tuner for use in car radios etc., comprising a manual tuning shaft which has a threaded portion, a release plate which is movably and turnably installed on a guide rod disposed in parallel with the manual tuning shaft and which is provided with a friction plate corresponding to the threaded portion, a core carriage which moves in the same direction as a moving direction of the release plate in interlocking with a movement thereof, and a release plate which is operated by depressing a push button. The friction plate and the threaded portion are held in engagement in the normal state, and the engagement is released when the push button is depressed.

Release mechanism for a push-button tuner

An aerosol spray device having a spray container charged with an agent to be sprayed, and an assembly including a bomb charged with a propellant compressed gas and a pressure regulator attached to the outlet side of the bomb. The assembly is mounted and fixed to the inside of the spray container through a packing interposed therebetween. The pressure regulator includes a piston adapted to control the flow of the gas from the bomb into the spray container through the pressure regulator. Means are provided for holding the piston in inoperative position until the aerosol spray device is actually used by the user after fabrication.

A device incorporated in a push button switch for representing the status of the switch has a representing plate member having an arm which is rotatably held at its mid portion by a supporting member. The arrangement is such that the sum of the stroke of an operation rod and a rotation of the arm is transmitted to the representing plate member to provide a larger stroke of the later, so as to ensure a distinctive representation for a given stroke of the push button.

An indicating mechanism for use with a pushbutton switch is disclosed which comprises a hollow nob, a window formed of a transparent plate attached to one end of the hollow nob, an indicating member having an indicating surface and a leg portion formed with a recess for permitting the indicating member to move the interval equal to the width of the recess, two or more resilient plates each having a curved portion and disposed within the hollow nob so that the curved portions can cover the indicating surface of the indicating member when the indicating surface is moved away from the transparent plate and can hold the indicating member when the indicating surface is moved near to the transparent plate.
