A display controller converts a detection target region contained within a detection range of an obstruction sensor group and extending from a vehicle to the periphery thereof into a virtual marker image and causes a virtual image to be displayed by superimposing the image over a scene in front of the vehicle. When the relative position of an obstruction is within the detection target region, the display controller causes an arc-shaped ripple spreading in a direction based on the relative position of the obstruction to be displayed in a region, of the virtual marker image, located in a direction based on the relative position of the obstruction. The display controller converts the important information into a notification image and causes the notification image to be displayed in a display medium. The display controller changes the display format of at least one of the virtual marker image or the notification image.

Vehicle display control apparatus and vehicle display control method

A display device includes: a first closed-bottomed lens tube including a first display part on the closed bottom for displaying a first image; a second closed-bottomed lens tube including a second display part on the closed bottom for displaying a second image; and an adjustment mechanism that couples the first lens tube and the second lens tube and is capable of adjusting a distance between the first lens tube and the second lens tube. The adjustment mechanism includes an operable part that adjusts the distance between the first lens tube and the second lens tube.

Display device

A display device includes: a first closed-bottom lens tube including a first display part on the closed bottom for displaying a first image; a second closed-bottom lens tube including a second display part on the closed bottom for displaying a second image; an adjustment mechanism including a first rod that extends from the first lens tube and a second rod that extends from the second lens tube and is rotatably connected relative to the first rod; and an image maintainer that, in accordance with the angle of rotation of the first and second rods of the adjustment mechanism, rotates the first and second display parts relative to the first and second lens tubes to bring the horizontal directions of the first and second display parts closer to the arrangement direction of the first and second lens tubes.

A display device includes: a closed-bottomed first lens tube including a first display part on the closed bottom for displaying a first image; a closed-bottomed second lens tube including a second display part on the closed bottom for displaying a second image; an adjustment mechanism including an operable part that is provided between and adjusts a distance between the first and second lens tubes; and an eye cup provided for each of the first and second lens tubes that is tubular and detachably attached to the open end of the first or second lens tube. The eye cup includes: an insertion part that is tubular and inserted inside the first or second lens tube; and a cup part having a curved sheet shape that extends outside of the first or second lens tube.

The head mounted display includes: a headgear having an attachment that comes into close contact with the face of the user in a manner such that the user can see at least the front and a fixture that is attached to the attachment and is used for fixing the attachment to the head of the user while maintaining the close contact with the face of the user; a display unit that has a video display unit configured to display video and is detachable from the attachment; and a lock mechanism that is provided in at least one of the attachment or the display unit, and fixes the display unit to the attachment in a manner such that the fixing can be released. The attachment and the display unit are configured to engage with each other in the front-rear direction of the user.

Head-mounted display

A display device includes: a first closed-bottom lens tube including a first display part on the closed bottom for displaying a first image; a second closed-bottom lens tube including a second display part on the closed bottom for displaying a second image; an adjustment mechanism including a first rod that extends from the first lens tube and a second rod that extends from the second lens tube and is rotatably connected to the first rod; and an image outputter that outputs the first and second images to the first and second display parts, respectively. The image outputter, in accordance with the angle of rotation of the first and second rods of the adjustment mechanism, controls and outputs the first and second images to bring the horizontal directions thereof closer to the arrangement direction of the first and second lens tubes.

Head mounted display device

A head mounted display is worn on a head of a user. The head mounted display includes a display device configured to display image; a casing that houses the display device; a right-eye lens and a left-eye lens attached to the casing; and an inter-lens structure disposed between the right-eye lens and the left-eye lens. The head mounted display causes the user to recognize a color of at least a part of the inter-lens structure as a color that is equal to or brighter than a skin color when the user wears the head mounted display.

A head-mounted display device includes a first display portion disposed in front of a pupil of a viewer and displaying a first image, a second display portion disposed on an ear side of the viewer and diagonally in front of the pupil and displaying a second image, a first lens disposed between the pupil and the first display portion for projecting a first image onto the pupil, and a second lens disposed between the pupil and the second display portion for projecting a second image onto the pupil. The second lens is disposed adjacent to the first lens on the ear side of the viewer, and an optical axis of the first lens and an optical axis of the second lens intersect with each other at an angle ranging from 30 degrees to 80 degrees inclusive.

Head-mounted display device

A video image processing device uses a plurality of video data captured by a plurality of cameras to generate a wide range video data of the entire celestial sphere having a 360-degree range around an area where the plurality of cameras is installed and to transmit the generated wide range video data of the entire celestial sphere to a video display device. The video display device detects a direction of the video display device as a direction of a sight line of the user, receives the transmitted wide range video data of the entire celestial sphere, segments a predetermined area of video data including a detection result of a sensor from the wide range video data of the entire celestial sphere, adjusts a luminosity of the extracted predetermined area of video data to fall in a certain range of luminosity, and displays the adjusted predetermined area of video data.

Video display system, video display device, and video display method

A head-mounted display device includes: a first display that displays a first image, the first display being located in front of a pupil of a user in a forward-looking-state in which the pupil is looking forward; a second display that displays a second image, the second display being located diagonally in front of the pupil in the forward-looking-state; a first eye lens that causes first light of the first image to pass through the pupil, the first eye lens being located between the pupil and the first display in the forward-looking-state; and a second eye lens that causes second light of the second image to pass through the pupil, the second eye lens being located between the pupil and the second display in the forward-looking-state. The distance between the second display and the second eye lens decreases as a distance from the first display increases.

An information input/display device including: a sensor detecting contact and outputting contact positions; a display unit displaying video signals each corresponding to one screen; a first drawing unit generating first video signals each corresponding to one screen, when displayed, that includes an image of a drawing of a continuous line formed by the contact positions; a second drawing unit generating second video signals each corresponding to an image of the drawing of the continuous line, the second drawing unit generating images of the drawing of the continuous line at a higher speed than the first drawing unit; and an adding unit adding each of the second video signals to a corresponding one of the first video signals. Images of the drawing of the continuous line generated by at least one of the first drawing unit and the second drawing unit change as time elapses in drawing processing.

Information input display device and information input display method

A head-mounted display device having: an image display element displaying a two-dimensional image; an eyepiece magnifying and projecting the image displayed by the image display element; and a holder holding the image display element and the eyepiece, so that the viewer's eyeball sees, through the eyepiece, a magnified virtual image of the image displayed by the image display element. The image display element is a two-dimensional display device having the shape of a matrix, composed of a central portion which is flat, and a left side portion and a right side portion each of which has a sheet-like shape whose cross-section along a horizontal plane is curved toward the eyepiece away from the extension line of the central portion. In the image display element, pixels in the left and right side portions and are greater in size than pixels in the central portion.
