There is provided a diaphragm or a dust cap configured to emit a sound wave and an electrodynamic speaker unit including the diaphragm or the dust cap. The speaker unit is configured so that a great peak dip of sound pressure frequency characteristics due to influence of a divided vibration mode can be prevented and excellent reproduced sound quality can be provided. In the diaphragm or the dust cap, a recessed-raised portion imitating a wing of an insect is formed at least on one surface of a diaphragm portion configured to emit a sound wave. Preferably, the recessed-raised portion is formed based on data obtained by measurement of an actual shape of a wing vein of the insect or data of a Voronoi diagram imitating the wing vein of the insect.

Diaphragm or dust cap and speaker unit

An acoustic diaphragm which has excellent Young's modulus and internal loss (tan &#x3b4;) values is provided. The acoustic diaphragm according to the present invention is made from papermaking material substantially solely including cellulose nanofibers. In one embodiment, the cellulose nanofibers are unoxidized cellulose nanofibers.

The present invention provides a loudspeaker diaphragm and an electrodynamic loudspeaker of an elongated shape being shorter in the minor-axis direction than in the major-axis direction, which have a desirable sound reproducing capability with a high efficiency and are not significantly influenced by divided vibrations of an elongated loudspeaker diaphragm, and which are suitably installed in devices such as display devices. In the elongated loudspeaker diaphragm: the diaphragm body includes a first diaphragm portion in a central portion of a rear surface thereof, the first diaphragm portion including a junction to a voice coil bobbin, a second diaphragm portion extending on each side of the first diaphragm portion in the major-axis direction, and a reinforcement rib extending continuously through the first diaphragm portion and the second diaphragm portions; and the edge includes a free edge portion for freely supporting opposite ends in the minor-axis direction of the first diaphragm portion and the second diaphragm portion, and a fixed edge portion being thicker than the free edge portion for fixedly supporting a distal end of each second diaphragm portion in the major-axis direction.

Speaker diaphragm and electrodynamic loudspeaker using the same

According to the invention, a whole-surface driven, flat thin loudspeaker that brings about smooth frequency characteristics with split vibration hardly caused is realized, and a voice coil assembly that has high reproduction efficiency and fewer operation failures, and brings about favorable work efficiency in manufacturing and further reduced manufacturing cost, and a loudspeaker using the same are manufactured. The voice coil assembly includes a rectangular voice coil including a rectangular bobbin formed with a rectangular cross section and a rectangular coil bonded to the rectangular bobbin, and a rectangular reinforcing member coupling the plurality of rectangular voice coils to one another in a grid pattern, wherein a portion of inner wall surfaces of the rectangular reinforcing member is bonded to any of outer wall surfaces of the rectangular bobbins of the plurality of rectangular voice coils, and the outer wall surfaces of the rectangular bobbins, to which the inner wall surfaces of the rectangular reinforcing member are not bonded, and portions of the inner wall surfaces of the rectangular reinforcing member, which are not bonded to the outer wall surfaces of the rectangular bobbins define a rectangular space between a pair of the adjacent rectangular voice coils.

Voice coil assembly and loudspeaker using the same

A voice coil assembly capable of realizing a flat thin loudspeaker having a high efficiency, reduced divided vibrations, a flat frequency response, and reduced operation defects. The voice coil assembly includes a plurality of internal-winding voice coils, each including a rectangular bobbin having a rectangular cross section and defining a rectangular space therein and an internal rectangular coil fixed to an inner wall surface of the rectangular bobbin defining the rectangular space, wherein an outer wall surface of the rectangular bobbin of one internal-winding voice coil is adhered and fixed to an outer wall surface of the rectangular bobbin of another internal-winding voice coil.

Voice coil assembly, loudspeaker using the same, and method for producing the same

A speaker diaphragm includes a base material impregnated with a thermosetting resin composition. The base material includes a first surface material, a core material, and a second surface material in the stated order; the first surface material and the second surface material are each formed of a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric; and the core material is formed of a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric each including hollow fine particles.

Speaker diaphragm and speaker structure

The speaker member of the present invention comprises (a) a vibrating plate part comprising a base material, a part of the base material being impregnated with a thermosetting resin; and (b) an edge part containing the same base material as that of the vibrating plate. Such a speaker member is obtained by a method comprising the steps of: forming a base material; impregnating a portion of the base material with a thermosetting resin wherein the portion is to be a vibrating plate part; and curing said impregnated thermosetting resin so as to form the vibrating plate part, and simultaneously forming an edge part.
