A vehicle communication system installed in a vehicle includes: a lamp for illumination, a display or signal; a display that is configured by a planar light emitter and has an information display function; and a control unit that is capable of controlling turning-on of the lamp and of the display. The control unit is configured to control the lamp and the display in a linked manner, and present vehicle information indicating a condition of the vehicle by combining light emission of the lamp with information display of the display.

Multiple light sources are arranged in an array. A light guide member receives light emitted from the multiple light sources on its back face, and outputs the light thus received from its front face. The light guide member has a base portion such that its back face faces the multiple light sources and such that it extends in the array direction of the multiple light sources. Multiple back-face protrusions and multiple front-face protrusions are formed such that they protrude from the back face and the front face of the base portion. The front-face protrusion has multiple continuous faces in the circumferential direction along the front face of the base portion.

The second light guide has a second light emission surface that emits light that enters the second light guide after being reflected by the first reflecting surface, and a second reflecting surface that reflects the light that enters the second light guide after being reflected by the first reflecting surface toward the second light emission surface.

A vehicular rear panel with a new configuration is provided. The vehicular rear panel according to an aspect of the present disclosure is made of a resin material and disposed on a rear vehicle body part. The vehicular rear panel includes a light guiding unit configured to guide light from the light source along an extending direction of the vehicular rear panel and a light emitting unit configured to emit light in the light guiding unit to a rear side of a vehicle.

A vehicular lamp including a lens member between a light-emitting element () and a light guiding plate () in which emitted light from the light-emitting element () is incident on the rear end surface () and then emitted from the front end surface () to the front of the lamp. The lens member () allows a part of the emitted light, which travels in a direction close to an optical axis (Ax), to reach the light guiding plate () as diffusing light that diffuses in a horizontal plane and further allows the emitted light to reach the light guiding plate () as parallel light along the optical axis (Ax) in a vertical plane.

A lamp unit includes at least one light source that emits light in a predetermined direction, and a light guide body including at least one incident surface where light emitted from the light source enters, a first emission surface that emits light entering from the incident surface in a horizontal direction, and a plurality of second emission surfaces that emits light entering the incident surface in a horizontal direction and emits light entering the incident surface to the upper side of the horizontal direction. The second emission surfaces are formed above the first emission surface at different positions in an up-down direction, and are positioned on the back side of the first emission surface so as to be spaced apart from one another in the horizontal direction.

A lamp is provided. The lamp includes a lamp housing; light emitting diodes (LEDs); a main reflector disposed so as to oppose to the LEDs for reflecting light emitted from the LEDs towards a front side of the lamp; a sub-reflector which is interposed between the LEDs and the main reflector, and which reflects and diffuses the light emitted from the LEDs towards the main reflector; an LED element assembly which extends in parallel with the sub-reflector and comprises a plurality of flat portions, each flat portion corresponding to one of the plurality of LEDs and on which the corresponding LED is mounted, adjacent ones of the flat portions being coupled together by at least one step portion; and a center portion which covers the LED element assembly and the LEDs such that the LEDs are not exposed to the front side of the lamp.

A vehicular infrared irradiation lamp includes an infrared light-emitting element for projecting infrared light; a visible light-emitting element that emits visible light; and a transparent member provided at least partially adjacent to a light-emitting portion of the infrared light-emitting element. The transparent member radiates visible light received from the visible light-emitting element in a radiation direction of infrared light.

A vehicular lamp including, in a lamp chamber formed by a lamp body having a front opening and a transparent front cover attached to the front opening, a semiconductor light-emitting element; and an inner lens positioned forward of the semiconductor light-emitting element.
