A power semiconductor device is provided with a semiconductor-element substrate in which a front-surface electrode pattern is formed on a surface of an insulating substrate; semiconductor elements for electric power which are affixed to the surface of the front-surface electrode pattern; a partition wall which is provided on the front-surface electrode pattern so as to enclose the semiconductor elements for electric power; a first sealing resin member which is filled inside the partition wall; a second sealing resin member which covers the first sealing resin member and a part of the semiconductor-element substrate which is exposed from the partition wall, wherein an electrode for a relay terminal is provided on a surface of the partition wall, and a wiring from inside of the partition wall to outside of the partition wall is led out via the electrode for a relay terminal.

Power semiconductor device

A semiconductor device includes: a semiconductor-element substrate in which a front-surface electrode pattern is formed on a surface of an insulating substrate and a back-surface electrode is formed on another surface; semiconductor elements affixed to the surface of the front-surface electrode pattern opposite the insulating substrate; and a sealing resin member which covers the semiconductor element and the semiconductor-element substrate, wherein at a position of the front-surface electrode pattern where the position has potential equivalent to that of the front-surface electrode pattern at a position where a semiconductor element is bonded, an insulating terminal table formed with a conductive relay terminal and an insulating member that insulates the relay terminal and the front-surface electrode pattern from each other are provided, and wiring from the semiconductor element to the outside is led out via the relay terminal.

Rectifying device of vehicle alternator

A power module according to the present invention is a power module configured such that a power device chip is arranged within an outer casing and an electrode of the power device chip is connected to an external electrode that is integrated with the outer casing. The power module includes: a heat spreader fixed inside the outer casing; the power device chip solder-bonded on the heat spreader; an insulating dam formed on the heat spreader so as to surround the power device chip; and an internal main electrode having one end thereof solder-bonded to the electrode of the power device chip and the other end thereof fixed to an upper surface of the dam. The external electrode and the other end of the internal main electrode are electrically connected to each other by wire bonding.

Power module

A vehicular alternator is provided which can suppress the vibration of a circuit board. The vehicular alternator has a rectifier that includes a plurality of diodes forming a full-wave rectifier circuit, a pair of negative and positive terminal side heat sinks that hold the diodes, and a circuit board connecting the diodes and a stator coil to one another, wherein the negative and positive terminal side heat sinks and the circuit board are mounted on a casing at a plurality of mounting portions, which are superposed with one another in an axial direction of a shaft, by using mounting members. Between adjacent ones of the mounting portions, there are formed abutment portions in which the circuit board is superposed on and placed in abutment with the negative terminal side heat sink or the positive terminal side heat sink, and the abutment portions are fixed to each other by rivets.

Alternator

The stator core is configured into a cylindrical shape by abutting a laminated core that is obtained by bending and forming a rectangular parallelepiped lamination and integrating the stator core by welding. The lamination is configured by laminating a predetermined number of thin strip-shaped magnetic plates that are formed so as to have a flat rectangular shape, and in addition at least two thin sheet coupling weld portions that integrate the predetermined number of thin strip-shaped magnetic plates by welding are formed so as to extend from a first end to a second end in a direction of lamination on an outer wall surface of the lamination and so as to have a predetermined spacing in a longitudinal direction of the lamination. The stator core is formed such that an axial length A at the thin sheet coupling weld portions and a maximum axial length B between the thin sheet coupling weld portions satisfy an expression:mm&#x2266;B&#xb7;A&#x2266;mm.

An automotive alternator includes: a case; a shaft; a rotor that is fixed to the shaft; a stator that is fixed to an inner wall surface of the case; and a rectifier apparatus that is disposed inside the case and that is electrically connected to a stator coil of the stator so as to rectify alternating current generated in the stator coil into direct current, the rectifier apparatus having: a heatsink; diodes; and a circuit board that connects the diodes and the stator coil electrically and that is fixed to the case so as to be supported together with the heatsink by mount portions at three points, the alternator being characterized in that: vibration suppressing portions that are thicker than the mount portions and that suppress generation of vibrational modes in the circuit board among the mount portions are disposed on the mount portions.

An objective is to provide a pressure-contact type rectifier in which solder that increases the environmental load is not used, and neither burning nor breakage of a rectifying device occurs, even if temperature of the rectifying device increases due to current flowing or force towards outside the rectifying device is applied to a lead end, etc. By providing an electrically conductive friction reducer on at least one electrode face of the rectifying device, the temperature increase can be prevented, and the friction at the contact face can be reduced. Moreover, by providing a flexible portion on the lead end outside a cap, and fixing the flexible portion to the cap, the contact area between the lead and the rectifying device can be kept constant. As a result, a pressure-contact type rectifier in which neither burning nor breakage of the rectifying device occurs can be obtained.

An automotive alternator according to the present invention includes: a shaft having an end portion rotatably supported by a rear bearing housed inside a rear bearing housing portion of a rear bracket; a rectifier for converting an alternating current into a direct current; and a first centrifugal fan for cooling a rotor, a stator, and the rectifier by sucking in external air through a suction inlet in the bracket when the rotor rotates, the rectifier has a positive-side heat sink for cooling a plurality of positive-side diodes, the suction inlet is formed in a vicinity of the rear bearing housing portion, and a plurality of rear bearing cooling fins extending in a direction perpendicular to the shaft are formed on a side of the suction inlet near the rear bearing housing portion.

An AC generator including positive-electrode side and negative-electrode side support members disposed between a casing body and a cooling fan for supporting one-way conducting elements at the positive-electrode side and the negative-electrode side respectively, the positive-electrode side support member and the negative-electrode side support member being arranged on substantially the same plane perpendicular to the rotational shaft, wherein the inner peripheral surface of one of the positive-electrode side support member and the negative-electrode side support member which is located at a farther position from the rotational shaft is inclined so that the dimension in the radial direction thereof is increased from one end surface of the support member concerned at the casing body side to the other end surface of the support member concerned at the fan side.
