A frequency division duplex (FDD) first band includes a first downlink operating band and a first uplink operating band. An FDD second band includes a second downlink operating band and a second uplink operating band. In the FDD first band and the FDD second band, (1) the first downlink operating band, second downlink operating band, first uplink operating band, and second uplink operating band are positioned in order from lowest to highest frequency. The frequency range of the first uplink operating band and that of the second uplink operating band do not overlap each other. A filter is formed in or on a first substrate having piezoelectric properties and has a pass band including the first and second uplink operating bands.

Acoustic wave filter circuit, multiplexer, front-end circuit, and communication apparatus

A radio frequency circuit includes a power amplifier configured to selectively amplify one of a first radio frequency signal and a second radio frequency signal that have different bandwidths, and when the first radio frequency signal is input to the power amplifier, a first bias signal is applied to the power amplifier, and when the second radio frequency signal is input to the power amplifier, a second bias signal different from the first bias signal is applied to the power amplifier.

An antenna module including a dielectric substrate having a long side and a short side, a ground electrode, a radiating element, a peripheral electrode, and a parasitic element. The radiating element is disposed to face the ground electrode. The peripheral electrode is disposed along the long side of the dielectric substrate and is electrically connected to the ground electrode. The parasitic element is disposed along the short side of the dielectric substrate and is disposed away from the radiating element. The radiating element is configured to emit radio waves in two polarization directions along the long side and the short side of the dielectric substrate. The shortest distance between the radiating element and the parasitic element is greater than the shortest distance between the radiating element and the peripheral electrode.

Antenna module and communication device including the same

A radio-frequency circuit is used in simultaneous transfer of a radio-frequency signal of 4G and a radio-frequency signal of 5G, and includes a first transfer circuit that selectively receives the 4G radio-frequency signal or the 5G radio-frequency signal, and transfers a radio-frequency signal of a first communication band including a first transmission band and a first reception band and a radio-frequency signal of a second communication band including a second transmission band and a second reception band. The first and second transmission bands at least partially overlap. The first transfer circuit includes a first power amplifier that amplifies transmission signals of the first and second communication bands, and a first transmission filter that has a first passband including the first and second transmission bands, and passes the transmission signals of the first and second communication bands output from the first power amplifier.

Radio-frequency circuit and communication device

A common line is connected between a common terminal and a common connection node. A first filter has a first pass band. A second filter has a second pass band. At least one of a first condition and a second condition is satisfied. The first condition is that in the first pass band any one of a first impedance of the common line alone viewed from the common terminal (P) and a second impedance of the first filter viewed from the common connection node includes an inductive property and the other includes a capacitive property. The second condition is that in the second pass band one of the first impedance and a third impedance of the second filter viewed from the common connection node includes an inductive property and the other includes a capacitive property.

A communication device includes a dielectric substrate, a radiating element that has a flat shape and that is formed on the dielectric substrate, a housing that covers the dielectric substrate, and a rib. The rib is disposed in contact with the housing and the dielectric substrate. Feed points to which a radio frequency signal from an RFIC is supplied are formed in the radiating element. The rib and the dielectric substrate are in contact with each other in a center side region of the radiating element relative to the feed points, in a plan view from a normal direction of the dielectric substrate.

An antenna module includes a dielectric substrate, in or on which a feed element is formed, a dielectric substrate, in which a ground electrode (GND) is formed, and conductive members. The dielectric substrate is disposed opposite the dielectric substrate. When viewed in plan in the direction normal to the feed element, the conductive members are disposed around the feed element. An air layer is formed between the dielectric substrate and the dielectric substrate. The conductive members are formed in the air layer.

An antenna module includes feeding elements arranged adjacent to each other and filters connected to the respective feeding elements. Each of the filters includes a plurality of resonant lines that is not connected to each other. The filters are arranged between the feeding elements so as to cross a virtual line equidistant from the feeding elements when the antenna module is viewed in plan from the normal direction.

Antenna module, communication apparatus including the same, and circuit substrate

A radio-frequency circuit includes a switch and three filters. The switch is connected to an antenna connecting terminal. One filter has a pass band corresponding to a first sub-band and is configured to connect to the antenna connecting terminal via the switch. The first sub-band is included in a first band used for TDD communication. Another filter has a pass band corresponding to a second sub-band included in the first band and is configured to connect to the antenna connecting terminal via the switch. There is a gap between the first sub-band and the second sub-band. The remaining filter has a pass band corresponding to a third sub-band and is configured to connect to the antenna connecting terminal via the switch. The third sub-band includes the first sub-band, the second sub-band, and the gap.

Radio-frequency circuit

An antenna module includes a dielectric substrate having a multilayer structure, a power supply element and a ground electrode (GND) disposed in or on the dielectric substrate, a parasitic element, a power supply wiring line, and first and second stubs to be connected to the power supply wiring line. The parasitic element is disposed in a layer between the power supply element and the ground electrode (GND). The power supply wiring line passes through the parasitic element and supplies radio frequency power to the power supply element. The first stub is connected to a position different from a connection position of the second stub in the power supply wiring line.

Antenna module and communication apparatus equipped with the same

A radio frequency module includes: a first terminal to which a signal of a first frequency band is inputted, the first frequency band being at least a portion of an unlicensed band higher than or equal to 5 GHz; a second terminal to which a signal of a second frequency band is inputted, the second frequency band being at least a portion of a licensed band lower than 5 GHz; a first amplifier configured to amplify a signal of the first frequency band inputted to the first terminal; and a second amplifier configured to amplify a signal of the second frequency band inputted to the second terminal. In the radio frequency module, the first amplifier and the second amplifier are disposed in one package.

Radio frequency module and communication device

An antenna module includes radiating elements that radiate radio waves in a first polarization direction, and a feed conductor that supplies a common radio-frequency signal to the radiating elements. A first radiating element and a second radiating element are disposed adjacent to each other. The feed conductor includes a common conductor, and conductors branching off from the common conductor. The conductors are respectively coupled to the radiating elements. Frequency characteristics of an impedance of the radiating element are different from frequency characteristics of an impedance of the radiating element. Under another condition of a frequency band in which a return loss is less than or equal to a predetermined value is defined as an operable band width in each of the radiating elements, the operable band width of the radiating element partially overlaps the operable band width of the radiating element.

An antenna module includes a radiation element having feeding points, feeding wiring lines, and directional couplers. The feeding wiring line transmits a radio frequency signal from the RFIC to the feeding point. The feeding wiring line transmits a radio frequency signal from the RFIC to the feeding point. The directional coupler detects a radio frequency signal to be supplied to the radiation element through the feeding wiring line. The directional coupler detects a radio frequency signal to be supplied to the radiation element through the feeding wiring line. A polarization direction of a radio wave to be radiated with the radio frequency signal supplied to the feeding point is different from a polarization direction of a radio wave to be radiated with the radio frequency signal supplied to the feeding point.

A radio frequency module includes: a first filter circuit disposed on a first path that connects an antenna terminal and a first input/output terminal, and having a passband that is a first frequency band; a second filter circuit disposed on a second path that connects the antenna terminal and a second input/output terminal, and having a passband that is a second frequency band higher than the first frequency band; and a band-elimination filter circuit disposed on the second path and having an attenuation band that is a partial band of a third frequency band that belongs to an unlicensed band ranging from 5 GHz or higher, and is higher than the second frequency band. The second filter circuit is an LC filter circuit that includes an inductor and a capacitor.

An antenna module includes a plurality of sub-arrays arranged in an array. A first sub-array and a second sub-array are disposed adjacent to each other in a first direction. The first sub-array includes a first radiating element and a second radiating element disposed adjacent to each other in a second direction. The second sub-array also includes first and second radiating elements disposed adjacent to each other in the second direction. The second direction is a direction in which the first radiating element of the second sub-array is viewed from the first radiating element of the first sub-array and is a direction in which the second radiating element of the first sub-array and the second radiating element of the second sub-array are viewed. An angle ϕ formed between the first direction and the second direction is larger than 0° and smaller than 90°.
