In a recording system comprising a plurality of recording apparatuses connected in cascade to increase the number of audio channels, a desired audio signal can be monitored. In the recording apparatus, when a digital audio signal is input from a digital input terminal and an analog audio signal is input from an analog audio input terminal, the analog audio signal is converted to a digital signal, which is further embedded in the digital audio signal and output from an output terminal. When an operation unit designates a channel to be used for monitor output, among the digital audio signal input from a digital input terminal and a digital audio signal obtained by converting the analog audio signal to the digital signal, an audio signal of the channel which is designated is output for monitoring.

Recording apparatus

A multi-band limiter, a sound recording apparatus, and a program are provided having a multi-band limit function with a flat frequency characteristic while removing a dead zone of the multi-band limiter. A multi-band limiter is provided including an overlap filter unit () that divides an input sound signal into low-band, middle-band, and high-band components such that the components overlap each other between adjacent bands, limiters () that apply a limit process to limit a level in each band, trimming filter units () that apply a trimming process to trim an overlapping signal component in each of the limit-processed components, and an adder () that combines and outputs the trimming-processed components.

Multi-band limiter, sound recording apparatus, and program storage medium

A multi-band limiter, a sound recording apparatus, and a program are provided having a multi-band limit function with a flat frequency characteristic while removing a dead zone of a multi-band limiter. A cross-over filter unit divides an input sound signal into a low-band component, a middle-band component, and a high-band component so that the adjacent bands cross at &#x2212;6 dB. An overlap filter unit includes a low-band filter element, a middle-band filter element, and a high-band filter element that respectively divide the input sound signal into a low-band component, a middle-band component, and a high-band component, and applies a limit process to divide the input sound signal in such a manner that the low-band component and the middle-band component overlap each other and the middle-band component and the high-band component overlap each other by setting a high-band side cutoff frequency of the low-band filter element to be greater than or equal to a low-band side cutoff frequency of the middle-band filter element and setting a high-band side cutoff frequency of the middle-band filter element to be greater than or equal to a low-band side cutoff frequency of the high-band filter element, and set a control gain by a CG for each band, and an adder combines the components.

An audio apparatus includes a controller configured to set one of operation units as a master and another as a slave, and to cooperatively operate the slave operation unit while maintaining the level difference with the master operation unit. When an operation value of one of the operation units reaches the maximum or the minimum, the controller stores a level difference at that point in a memory, temporarily cancels the cooperative operation between the operation unit and the master operation unit, and allows for operation of the master operation unit and an operation unit that has not reached the maximum or the minimum. When the master operation unit is operated in a reverse direction and the level difference between the master operation unit and the operation unit matches the level difference stored in the memory, the controller restores the cooperative operation between the operation unit and the master operation unit.

Audio apparatus

There is provided a camera link recorder capable of recording sounds by a clock signal synchronized with a clock signal of a camera. A recorder is linked to a camera by means of an HDMI cable, and others. An HDMI receiver of the recorder reproduces an LRCK signal, which is an audio clock signal of a camera, from the HDMI signal, and outputs the LRCK signal. A CPU outputs a clock signal, which is generated from the LRCK signal when a frequency of the LRCK signal corresponds to a predetermined frequency of an audio CODEC, as a master clock signal to the audio CODEC. In other case, the clock signal generated from the internal clock signal CLK is output as a master clock signal to the audio CODEC.

Camera link recorder

A file editing apparatus for revoking (Undo) destructive segmentation. An audio file is segmented into two files by destructive segmentation. When revoking (Undo) operation is performed after segmentation, an end portion of a preceding file is deleted, and a head of a subsequent file is deleted. A copy file, which has been generated by copying during segmentation and preserved, is inserted between the two files to thereby concatenate the preceding file with the subsequent file, whereby an original file is generated.

File editing apparatus and file editing method

Electronic equipment capable of registering and changing shortcut functions. When a menu is displayed on an LCD of electronic equipment, a list of shortcuts assigned to respective function keys on a home screen is displayed in the form of a split screen as a result of operation of any of the function keys.
