A composition including (A) a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin, (B) an acrylic copolymer containing an alkoxysilyl group having the formula (I): ##STR1## (C) a polyorganosiloxane and (D) a curing catalyst. The composition can give the film with excellent weatherability, stain resistance, acid resistance, water repellency and durability and with no bad-smelling odor.

A thermosetting composition comprising (A) a carboxyl group-containing polyol resin, (B) a hydrolyzable silyl group-containing polymer, and at least one member selected from the group consisting of (C) a dehydrating agent and (D) an alcohol. This coated material is excellent in, for example, appearance, acid resistance, staining resistance, adhesiveness and hardness.
