A polyethylene-based resin multilayer foam sheet may include a polyethylene-based resin foam layer containing a polyethylene-based resin (A) as a base resin, and a conductive layer laminated on at least one side of the foam layer. The conductive layer contains: a mixed resin of one or more polyethylenes (B) of low-density polyethylenes and/or linear low-density polyethylenes and an ethylene-based copolymer (C) having a structural unit derived from ethylene and a structural unit derived from a monomer having a polar group; and conductive carbon. The conductive carbon blended in the conductive layer may be in a range of from 3 to 15 wt. %. The difference, Tm−Tm, between the melting point Tmof the polyethylene (B) and the melting point Tmof the ethylene-based copolymer (C) each contained in the conductive layer may be in a range of from 30 to 80° C.

Polyethylene-based resin multilayer foam sheet and method for producing same

A laminated foam sheet having a polyethylene resin foam layer and an antistatic polyethylene layer laminated on one or both sides thereof is produced by coextruding melts for respective layers, wherein the melt for the antistatic layer contains a polyethylene resin, an ionomer resin antistatic agent and a specific amount of volatile plasticizer blend containing an alcohol and a saturated hydrocarbon or a dialkyl ether. The antistatic layer of the obtained laminated foam sheet has specific morphology.

Process for producing laminated foam sheet and extruded laminated foam sheet

A laminated foam sheet having a polyethylene resin foam layer and an outer layer laminated on each side of the foam layer, each outer layer being composed of an outermost surface polyethylene resin layer and an intermediate polyethylene resin layer which is positioned between the outermost surface layer and the foam layer and which contains a specific amount of a polymeric antistatic agent relative to the weight of the intermediate layer and to the basis weight of each of the intermediate layer and outermost surface layer.

Polyethylene-based resin foam sheet

A method for producing a multi-layer foam sheet having a foam layer and a resin layer laminated on at least one side of the foam layer, includes coextruding a foamable molten resin composition which contains a low density polyethylene and a physical blowing agent and a molten resin composition which contains 80 to 20% by weight of a specific ethylene-propylene random copolymer and 20 to 80% by weight of a specific polyethylene resin so that the foamable molten resin composition forms the foam layer and the molten resin composition forms the resin layer.

Multiple layers laminated polyolefin foam

The present invention provides a speaker unit comprising a diaphragm of 0.5 to 10 mm thick aromatic polycarbonate with a density of 0.03 to 0.6 g/cm , and a mechanism for driving the diaphragm. The aromatic polycarbonate used for the diaphragm is preferably derived from bisphenol with a viscosity average molecular weight of 25,000 to 70,000. The invention further provides a speaker system comprising such a speaker unit attached to a cabinet and a method for manufacturing the speaker diaphragm.
