Provided is a molded body, including a polycarbonate-based resin composition containing: a polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer (A); and at least one kind of compound (B) selected from the group consisting of an antioxidant, a dye, a release agent, a light-diffusing agent, a flame retardant, a UV absorber, a silicone-based compound, an epoxy compound, and a polyether compound, wherein the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer (A) contains a polycarbonate block (A-1) and a polyorganosiloxane block (A-2), and contains the polyorganosiloxane block (A-2) at a content of from 20 mass % to 70 mass %, and wherein the molded body has a durometer hardness of from 25 to 72, which is measured with a type D durometer in conformity with JIS K 6253-3:2012.

Provided is a polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer (A), including: a polycarbonate block (A-1) formed of a repeating unit having a specific structure; and a polyorganosiloxane block (A-2) containing a repeating unit having a specific structure, wherein the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer satisfies the following requirements (1) to (3): (1) the content of the polyorganosiloxane block (A-2) in the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer (A) is from more than 40 mass % to 70 mass % or less; (2) the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer has a viscosity-average molecular weight of from 10,000 or more to 23,000 or less; and (3) the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer includes a specific polycarbonate block as the polycarbonate block (A-1).

An improved process for preparing carbonyl compounds by oxidizing olefins is disclosed. The process comprises oxidizing an olefin with oxygen or an oxygen containing gas in the presence of a palladium compound or metallic palladium, a polyoxoanion compound and an organic phosphorus compound in a solvent selected from oxygen-containing organic compounds, sulfur-containing organic compounds and nitrogen-containing organic compounds. In this process, precipitating of the palladium component is prevented and the high, reaction rate is well maintained through the prolonged reaction period and thus carbonyl compounds can be produced with high efficiency and productivity.

Process for preparing carbonyl compounds

The process for preparing the carbonyl compound involves oxidizing the olefins in the presence of the catalyst composed of the palladium compound and the polyoxoanion compound in a mixture of water with a cyclic ether having at least a dioxane ring or a dioxolan ring or in the presence of the catalyst composed of the palladium compound, the polyoxoanion compound and the quinone and/or the aromatic diol in a solvent. This process yields carbonyl compounds, such as ketones and aldehydes, useful as solvents, raw chemicals and so on, with a high production rate per unit time and unit palladium quantity.
