A microbe propagation preventing apparatus is provided to prevent an ion from decreasing at a time of decomposing ozone generated by gaseous discharge or ionization so as to sufficiently generate air ion, and to sufficiently prevent propagation of microbes adhering to an object by using the air ion without secondary pollution. Further, in the apparatus, a gas containing the ion is supplied into water so as to prevent the microbe propagation in the water. In the apparatus, an ozone decomposing chamber is mounted to be electrically insulated from an air duct. An electrode to remove a positive ion is mounted to obtain only a negative ion, and extend a lifetime of the obtained ion. An ion supplying portion is mounted to supply an ionized gas into a space housing the object in which microbes can be propagated, and return the ionized gas to an ionization chamber. Further, a diffusing apparatus is provided to transform the ionic gas into bubbles so as to feed the bubbles into the water in the water reservoir.

An air conditioning apparatus for car comprising: an air intake fan having internal and external air inlet ports and internal and external air change-over dampers; a heat exchanger for cooling and a heat exchanger for warming, both being arranged in series at the downstream of said air intake fan and in the direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of the air flow; a by-pass route provided above and in parallel with the heat exchanger for warming; and air mixing changer formed at the downstream of said heat exchanger for warming and said by-pass route; and an air blow-off port and a control damper for controlling direction of the air flow provided at the downstream of the air mixing chamber. The air intake fan, said heat exchanger for cooling, said heat exchanger for warming, said by-pass route, said air mixing chamber, said each air blow-off port, said each control damper and a water draining device are all installed in the same casing in the order as mentioned. The casing is made separable between said air intake fan and said heat exchanger for cooling, and said air intake fan is installed above a front deck portion enclosed by a cowl top outer panel and a cowl top inner panel or to the side of the engine room, and the remaining portion is installed in the vehicle cabin to be connected with said air intake fan.

Air conditioning apparatus for cars

A heat exchange unit suitable for combination with a propeller fan comprises at least one pipe for coolant having porous passages for coolant inside thereof, said pipe being either spirally wound or one of a plurality of substantially circular pipes which are coaxially arranged. An inlet header are and an outlet header respectively connected to the inlet or the outlet of the pipe for coolant. At least one corrugated fin is interposed in a space formed between the adjacent pipes or portions of the spirally wound pipe. The heat exchanger is provided with a space at the central portion, and a fan motor is positioned in the central space of the heat exchanger. An air-conditioner for an automobile is disclosed which is provided with a compressor adapted to be directly connected to the engine, the compressor being provided with two coaxial compressing cylinders each having a different displacement, whereby the cylinder having the smaller displacement is adapted to be always operated to carry out the dehumidification, while the cylinder having the larger displacement is adapted to be operated only when it is desired to air-condition the compartment by a change in its operation rate through the actuation of such as a slide valve.
