A control apparatus for controlling a hybrid vehicle having a planetary gear train including a first gear coupled to a first rotating electrical machine, a carrier coupled to an input shaft having an ejecting hole, the input shaft being coupled to an engine shaft of an engine via a torque limiting mechanism which allows the input shaft to skid against the engine shaft depending on a variation of torque between the input shaft and the engine shaft, and a second gear coupled to a drive shaft which is coupled to a second rotating electrical machine, and a rotation limiting mechanism which prevents the engine shaft from rotating in another direction, drives the first rotating electrical machine to output torque for rotating the input shaft in the another direction when the ejecting hole with the engine stopped does not extend in a predetermined direction in which the ejecting hole can eject oil to a mechanism portion of the planetary gear train which locates vertically above the input shaft.

Control apparatus for hybrid vehicle

A control system of a hybrid vehicle, in which a driving power source for travel includes an engine that is started by cranking, a motor that can control a torque, and a clutch that is coupled with the motor and in which a transmission torque capacity continuously changes depending on a change of a control amount is configured to estimate a torque of the clutch based on the torque that the motor outputs, and change rates of the rotational speed of the motor and the clutch caused by changing the control amount, when the torque that the motor outputs is transmitted by the clutch that is in a slip state by changing the control amount.

Control system for hybrid vehicle

A vehicle drive device includes: an oil pump; an oil cooler; a bypass oil passage configured to bypass the oil cooler; a control valve; and a control unit. The control unit keeps the control valve in a first state while a temperature of oil circulated by the oil pump is lower than a predetermined value, and switches the control valve to a second state when the temperature of the oil circulated by the oil pump becomes not lower than the predetermined value while the control valve is in the first state. The control unit changes a voltage command value of an electric motor to a value smaller than a voltage command value corresponding to a required output of the electric motor after elapse of a predetermined period from a time the control valve is switched to the second state.

Vehicle drive device

A vehicle control system is provided to reduce a change in drive force and to start an engine without delay when starting the engine by a motor during running. The control system is applied to a hybrid vehicle having an internal combustion engine and two motors supplied electric power from a battery. The control system comprises a determination means that determines a fact that a state of charge of the battery is lower than a first threshold, during propelling the vehicle by the two motors by supplying the electric power from the battery while stopping the engine (at step S); and a drive force restriction means that restricts a total drive force of said two motors for propelling the vehicle to an allowable limit which is lower than a theoretical maximum drive force of said two motors, given that the state of charge of the battery is lower than a first threshold (at step S).

A driving device for the hybrid vehicle includes a planetary gear mechanism; a first rotating machine coupled to a sun gear of the planetary gear mechanism; an engine coupled to a carrier of the planetary gear mechanism; a second rotating machine and a drive wheel that are coupled to a ring gear of the planetary gear mechanism; and a regulating mechanism that regulates rotation of the carrier, wherein the driving device has a first driving region that allows executing a dual-drive mode that causes running using the first rotating machine and the second rotating machine as power sources, and a second driving region that allows executing a lubrication running mode that causes the first rotating machine to rotate the engine so as to lubricate the planetary gear mechanism and causes running using the second rotating machine as a single power source.

Driving device for hybrid vehicle

A power transmission device includes: a planetary gear mechanism; a first rotary machine connected to a sun gear of the planetary gear mechanism; an engine and a one-way clutch that are connected to a carrier of the planetary gear mechanism; a second rotary machine and a drive wheel that are connected to a ring gear of the planetary gear mechanism; and a parking device connected to the ring gear. The power transmission device is configured to positively rotate the first rotary machine at a time a command to disengage the parking device is received and thereafter disengage the parking device, and a direction of the positive rotation is a rotational direction of the carrier rotary-driven by the engine.

A vehicle control system is provided to improve a response of shifting operation of a drive mode while avoiding a shortage of drive force. The control system is applied to a hybrid vehicle having an internal combustion engine and two motors, and configured to select a drive mode from a mode where the vehicle is powered by the engine and a mode where the vehicle is powered by at least one of the motors while stopping the engine. The control system predicts a fact that the engine is expected to be started based on a detection value representing a running condition of the vehicle, during propulsion of the vehicle by the two motors while stopping the engine; shifts a drive mode to a mode where the vehicle is powered by one of the motors without using a power of the other motor to be used to start the engine; and starts the engine upon satisfaction of a condition for propelling the vehicle by the power of the other motor.

Control device for hybrid vehicle

A vehicular transmission includes a transmission input shaft to which engine torque is input, first and second differential mechanisms as transmission mechanisms to which the engine torque is input through the transmission input shaft, a torque limiter arranged between the transmission input shaft and an engine configured to enable torque transmission between the transmission input shaft and an engine output shaft and inhibit an input of excessive torque larger than predetermined torque between the transmission input shaft and the engine output shaft, and a one-way clutch arranged between the torque limiter and the engine for prohibiting reverse rotation of the engine while allowing normal rotation of the engine.

An apparatus includes: a cam that has two cam members disposed facing each other and produces thrust in an axis direction; an attracting member that creates friction force by attracting the cam members into contact with the attracting member by magnetic attraction force; an attracted member that is attached to one cam member of the two so as to rotate integrally together with the one cam member and be relatively movable in the axis direction, and that is attracted by the attracting member into contact with the attracting member so that the friction force is produced; a first return spring that exerts elastic force on the attracted member so as to move the attracted member away from the attracting member against the magnetic attractive force; and a second return spring that exerts elastic force on the one cam member.

Electromagnetic engagement apparatus

An electromagnetic clutch includes a rotating member; an electromagnetic coil that is arranged on a rotational axis of the rotating member and generates electro-magnetic force; an output mechanism that has an armature to which return force in a direction away from the electromagnetic coil is applied by a return spring; a cam mechanism that is juxtaposed along the rotational axis to the output mechanism, and has a control cam that is unable to rotate relative to the rotating member, and a cam follower that is able to roll between the control cam and the armature; and a relative rotation restricting device that is arranged on an axis of the cam mechanism, and that is configured to restrict relative rotation between the armature and the control cam when the electromagnetic coil is in a de-energized state.

Electromagnetic clutch

A control device of a vehicle includes: power dividing mechanism that has a plurality of rotating elements rotated by torque output and transmitted from an engine and a first motor/generator and switches a transmission mode according to the engaging states of the respective rotating elements; and a clutch that has a first engaging member and a second engaging member having a backlash between them in a rotating direction thereof, and that sets a transmission mode to a fixed transmission ratio mode by engaging the first engaging member connected to one of the rotating elements with the second engaging member, and sets the transmission mode to a continuously variable transmission ratio mode by releasing the engagement. In the control device of a vehicle, the magnitude of the reversed rotating torque is reduced when the direction of rotating torque acting between the first and seconds engaging members.

An object of the present invention is to detect the generation of a drag torque in a locking mechanism, in a hybrid vehicle in which a speed change mode can be changed between a fixed speed change mode and a stepless speed change mode by the action of the locking mechanism. In a hybrid vehicle, a brake mechanism is a wet multiplate brake apparatus and can selectively lock a motor generator. On the other hand, in a case where the drag torque is generated in the brake mechanism, if the motor generator is in a positive rotation state, an actual motor generator torque (first torque) is greater than a torque (less as a reaction torque, second torque) calculated from the operating condition of the hybrid vehicle by the amount of the drag torque. If the motor generator is in a negative rotation state, the first torque is less (greater as the reaction torque) than the second torque. The ECU uses this phenomenon to detect the drag torque.

In a hybrid vehicle having a locking mechanism in which a play elimination process is required in the locking, a torque shock in the play elimination is reduced. In a hybrid vehiclehaving a locking mechanismwhich is a cam-lock type engaging apparatus, an ECUperforms MGlocking control. In the control, play is formed between a camand a clutch plateof the locking mechanism. The formed play is gradually reduced such that the torque shock in the play elimination does not occur due to the phase control of the cam, on the basis of an initial value of the amount of the play when the clutch plateis bought into contact with a friction partand a play elimination amount G.
