An information processing device includes a detection unit, a display control unit, and a determination unit. The display control unit switches a composite image to a generated image, and causes a display device to display the generated image when the determination unit determines that a predetermined condition has been satisfied under the state in which the detection unit has detected that a travel direction of a vehicle is backward.

Information processing device

An image processing apparatus includes an image acquirement section, a correction section, and an image production section. The image acquirement section acquires an image signal representing an image, the image signal is generated by light receiving elements that receive lights from a specific space preliminarily defined in a vicinity of a vehicle via a near infrared passing filter mainly transmitting near infrared lights and a visible light passing filter transmitting visible lights and near infrared lights, respectively. The image includes multiple areas and indicates the specific space projected onto a plane. The correction section corrects each area of the image by amplifying intensity of near infrared lights with an increasing amplification factor when a difference between the intensity of near infrared lights and intensity of visible lights and near infrared lights becomes smaller. The image production section produces a new image based on the corrected areas of the image.

Night-vision image processing apparatus

A night-vision device is provided with a projection unit, an image pickup unit, a luminance ratio determining unit, and a projection control unit. The luminance ratio determining unit determines whether a determination luminance ratio in a set region is within a predetermined luminance range as a luminance ratio at which a subject to be detected forms an emphasized image, said set region having been set at least in a part of an image obtained by means of the image pickup unit. In the cases where the determination luminance ratio is out of the predetermined luminance range, the projection control unit controls the intensity of near-infrared light emitted from the projection unit such that the determination luminance ratio is within the predetermined luminance range.

Night-vision device

An EL device includes a control unit that controls a driving circuit so that a plurality of EL elements emits light several times per driving cycle. Specifically, when a driving voltage is applied to the plurality of EL elements, the plurality of EL elements emits several times per driving cycle. As a result, since the amount of light integrated per time increases, the plurality of EL elements obtains high luminous power even if a plurality of El elements having a very short emission decay time is used.

Electroluminescent device with sufficient luminous power and driving method thereof

The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device having a matrix electrode structure in which flicker of picture images displayed on a panel is invisible. Scanning electrodes of the matrix are driven by alternating voltages which include voltages for holding picture images displayed on the panel. Refresh pulse voltages higher than the holding voltages are imposed on the scanning electrodes every time the polarity of the holding voltages is reversed, so that the brightness of the picture images does not change before and after the reversing of the holding voltage polarity. In case an anti-ferroelectric liquid crystal is used as the liquid crystal, the refresh pulse voltages which cause transitions of the liquid crystal states between positive ferroelectric and negative ferroelectric states and do not cause the transition from an anti-ferroelectric state to the ferroelectric states are imposed on the scanning electrodes.
