Provided are a polymer for an organic electroluminescent element, which has improved luminous efficiency and is applicable to a wet process, and an organic electroluminescent element obtained therefrom. The polymer for an organic electroluminescent element has a repeating unit represented by [&#x2014;(Z)-(A)-]in repeating units constituting a main chain. In addition, the organic electroluminescent element includes, between an anode and a cathode laminated on a substrate, organic layers including a hole-transporting layer and a light-emitting layer, in which at least one of the organic layers contains the polymer for an organic electroluminescent element. In the repeating unit, Z represents an N-indolocarbazolyl group, A represents a repeating unit different from Z, l and m each represent an abundance molar ratio, and l is 5 to 100 mol % and m is 0 to 95 mol %, and n is 2 to 10,000.

Polymer for use in organic electroluminescent element and organic electroluminescent element employing same

Provided are: a curable composition containing a compound having a polymerizable group, which allows the production of an organic electroluminescent element in which a plurality of organic layers are formed between both electrodes to be performed through a wet process; and an organic electroluminescent element improved in light emission performance, including a layer containing a cured product of the curable composition. Specifically, provided are: a curable composition containing an indolocarbazole compound having one polymerizable group such as a vinyl group or an epoxy group and having an indolocarbazole skeleton, and a compound having two polymerizable groups; and an organic electroluminescent element including a layer obtained by applying and curing the curable composition as a hole transport layer of the organic electroluminescent element.

Polymer for organic electroluminescent elements, and organic electroluminescent element using cured product of same

Disclosed is a polymer light-emitting material for an organic electroluminescent device that displays excellent light-emitting performance and is applicable to a wet process. The polymer light-emitting material for an organic electroluminescent device is obtained by subjecting a thermoplastic resin having an Mw of 2,000-1,000,000 and containing a functional group in a unit constituting the backbone and a metal-containing phosphorescent dopant compound containing a reactive group capable of reacting with the said functional group to a polymer reaction so as to link a phosphorescent dopant moiety derived from the metal-containing phosphorescent dopant compound to the unit constituting the backbone of the thermoplastic resin. The content of the metal derived from the metal containing phosphorescent dopant compound in the said polymer light-emitting material is 0.001-20 wt %.

Polymer light-emitting material, method for producing the same, and organic electroluminescent device

Provided are a polymer for an organic electroluminescent element, which improves light emission efficiency of the element and is applicable to a wet process, and an organic electroluminescent element, which is obtained using the polymer. The polymer for an organic electroluminescent element includes a repeating unit represented by the following general formula (1) in a repeating unit constituting a main chain. Further, the organic electroluminescent element includes organic layers between an anode and a cathode laminated on a substrate, in which at least one of the organic layers includes the polymer for an organic electroluminescent element, including an indolocarbazole skeleton in the repeating unit constituting a main chain. In the general formula (1), Z represents an N-indolocarbazolyl group, W represents a charge transporting group, m and n represent molar ratios, m represents 0 to 95 mol %, and n represents 5 to 100 mol.
