The present invention relates to providing a dental curable composition that, when cured, has high metal ion release ability and highly durable physical properties. The dental curable composition of the present invention includes: a sugar compound having an &#x2014;XM group, where &#x2014;X is an acid anion group and M is a metal cation; and a curable component.

A method for producing a dental mill blank, characterized in that the method includes contacting an inorganic filler molded article produced by subjecting an inorganic filler to press molding and a polymerizable monomer-containing composition, and allowing the polymerizable monomer to polymerize and cure. When the method of the present invention is used, a dental mill blank having a high inorganic powder content and excellent mechanical strength is obtained. In addition, the dental mill blank obtained is suitably used in the fabrication of a dental prosthesis having high mechanical strength and excellent gloss retention, by machining a mill blank using a CAD/CAM system.

Method for manufacturing dental mill blank

The present invention provides a dental curable composition suitable as a flowable composite resin. The dental curable composition, when in the form of a cured product, has excellent mechanical strength, polishability, and gloss retention, and, when in the form of a paste, has consistency appropriate for discharge through a needle attached to the tip of a syringe and exhibits good formability and handling properties after discharge through the needle. The present invention is a dental curable composition including: a polymerizable monomer (A); irregularly-shaped inorganic particles (B) having an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 0.3 &#x3bc;m and surface-treated with a silane coupling agent having a particular structure; and inorganic ultrafine particles (C) having an average particle diameter of 5 to 50 nm and surface-treated with a silane coupling agent having a particular structure, the dental curable composition containing 92.5 to 98 weight % of the irregularly-shaped inorganic particles (B) and 2 to 7.5 weight % of the inorganic ultrafine particles (C) relative to the amount of total inorganic particles and having a consistency of 25 to 55.

Dental curable composition and dental flowable composite resin

A dental composition for oral use, containing a phosphorylated saccharide (a), a polyphosphoric acid and/or a salt thereof (b), and a cationic bactericidal agent (c), wherein a ratio of a total amount of the phosphorylated saccharide (a) and the polyphosphoric acid and/or a salt thereof (b) contained to an amount of the cationic bactericidal agent (c) contained, i.e. {(a)+(b)}/(c), is from 0.05 to 20 in a weight ratio. The dental composition for oral use of the present invention can be suitably used for an oral cavity cleaning agent, including dentifrice agents such as a paste dentifrice agent, a powder dentifrice agent, and a liquid dentifrice agent, a mouse-wash agent, a troche, a tablet, a cream, an ointment, a bonding agent, a mouth spray, a coating agent to tooth surface or a dental prosthetic, a hypersensitive inhibitor, a therapeutic agent for periodontal diseases, that is applied to a periodontal pocket, wet tissue for oral cavity care, an oral refreshing agent, chewing gum, or a gargling agent, or the like.

Dental oral composition

A dental composition for oral use, containing a phosphorylated saccharide (a), a cationic bactericidal agent (b) and a solvent (c). By using the dental composition for oral use of the present invention, the adhesion of the bacteria in the oral cavity to the surfaces of the teeth can be suppressed for a long period of time; therefore, the dental composition for oral use can be suitably used for, for example, a mouse-wash agent, a dentifrice agent, a gargling agent, a mouse spray, a coating agent or a bonding agent to tooth surface or a dental prosthetic, a hypersensitive inhibitor, a therapeutic agent for periodontal diseases, that is applied to a periodontal pocket, or the like.

Oral composition for dental purposes

The present invention provides a composition suitable for a dental composition. The present invention is a composition containing: a polymerizable monomer (A) having an unconjugated carbon chain with at least four carbon atoms bonded continuously, at least two polymerizable groups, and at least two hydroxyl groups; and a polymerizable monomer (B) having one polymerizable group and at least one hydroxyl group. When a suitable component is added to this composition, the resultant composition can be used suitably for dental materials such as a primer, bonding material, composite resin, and cement.

Polymerizable monomer-containing composition

According to the present invention, a method of producing ethers, which includes subjecting a conjugated diene compound and an alcohol to a telomerization reaction in the presence of a composition containing a palladium compound, an isocyanide represented by the formula (I)RRRCNC &#x2003;&#x2003;(I)and a base represented by the formula (II)M(OR)&#x2003;&#x2003;(II)as a catalyst is provided. According to the method of the present invention, by telomerization reaction of a conjugated diene compound and an alcohol, ethers can be produced industrially advantageously.
