The sheet conveying apparatus according to the present invention includes: a conveyance roller which conveys a sheet; a roller support portion on which the conveyance roller is mounted; a roller engaging portion which is mounted on the conveyance roller; a support engaging portion which is mounted on the roller support portion and is engaged with the roller engaging portion; and a guide portion which is mounted on at least one of the roller engaging portion and the support engaging portion, the guide portion being configured to guide the roller engaging portion to a mounting position by rotating the roller engaging portion relative to the support engaging portion in an interlocking manner with a mounting operation in which the conveyance roller is mounted on the roller support portion.

An Md30 value is 80 or less, an Ni-bal is &#x2212;7.1 to 4, an austenite phase area percentage is 40 to 70%, and a 2&#xd7;Ni+Cu is 3.5 or more: Md30=551&#x2212;462&#xd7;(C+N)&#x2212;9.2&#xd7;Si&#x2212;8.1&#xd7;Mn&#x2212;29&#xd7;(Ni+Cu)&#x2212;13.7&#xd7;Cr&#x2212;18.5&#xd7;Mo&#x2212;68&#xd7;Nb; Ni-bal=(Ni+0.5Mn+0.5Cu+30C+30N)&#x2212;1.1(Cr+1.5Si+Mo+W)+8.2 and N(%)&#x2266;0.37+0.03&#xd7;(Ni-bal).

Lean duplex stainless steel excellent in corrosion resistance and toughness of weld heat affected zone

A sheet conveying apparatus includes a conveying guide configured to guide a sheet which is conveyed by a conveying roller and a driven roller, a pressing spring configured to press the driven roller toward the conveying roller, a holding portion configured to be provided to be rotated about a shaft center of the driven roller and to receive a pressing force of the pressing spring, and a supporting portion configured to support the driven roller in a direction perpendicular to a sheet conveying direction to abut on or be separated from the conveying roller. The holding portion includes a facing portion which is disposed to face the conveying guide. The facing portion is separated from the conveying guide in a state where the driven roller abuts on the conveying roller. The facing portion abuts on the conveying guide when the driven roller is separated from the conveying roller.

There are provided a sheet feeding apparatus which, with a simple configuration, can suppress generation of noise during feeding of a sheet without having an affect on sheet separating performance, and an image forming apparatus which includes this sheet feeding apparatus.
