A noise monitoring device capable of easily estimating a noise generation source in a factory is connected for communication with a plurality of machines in the factory. The noise monitoring device is provided with a noise information acquisition unit configured to acquire noise information including the time of generation of noise if the noise is generated in the machines, an operation information acquisition unit configured to continually acquire operation information of all the machines, a determination unit configured to extract the operation information at a point in time near the noise generation time, and a display unit configured to display the noise information and the operation information of all the machines at the point in time near the noise generation time.

Noise monitoring device

A noise generation cause estimation device capable of easily estimating the cause of noise generation in a factory is connected for communication with a plurality of machines in the factory. The noise generation cause estimation device is provided with a noise information acquisition unit configured to acquire noise information generated in the machines, an operation information acquisition unit configured to continually acquire operation information of all the machines, and a determination unit configured to learn the relevance between the noise information and the operation information. The determination unit is provided with a state observation unit configured to observe the noise information and the operation information as state variables indicative of a current state of the environment and a learning unit configured to form a plurality of clusters including the state variables.

A numerical control system includes a computer aided design (CAD) data storage means for storing CAD data, an input/output (I/O) assignment data storage means for storing I/O assignment data, and a relevant information storage means for recording relevant information between the I/O assignment data and mounting information included in CAD data of each of the I/O units, and displays a defect occurrence region on a shape image of a control panel.

Safety communication system using IO units communicating with a plurality of CPUS

There is provided a machine control panel with a display connected to a numerical controller of a machine tool. A part of a display section and an operation section are detachable from a main body. When a detachable section configured from the part of the display section and the operation section is detached from the main body, the detachable section is usable as a portable control panel. On the other hand, in a state in which the detachable section is attached to the main body, the display section and another display section fixed to the main body are combined as one screen to perform display.

A matrix key input interface has key common signal lines and key data signal lines wired in a matrix and key switches disposed at positions where the key common signal lines intersect the key data signal lines. The key data signal lines are periodically monitored while key scan signal is not output to any of the key common signal lines. Based on the results of monitoring, an earth fault is detected in key common signal lines or key data signal lines.

In a numerical control system in which a numerical controller and an I/O unit perform serial data communication through a communication line, a counter of the I/O unit starts time measurement with an input signal from an in-machine measurement device as a trigger and stops counting at the start of transmission of DI data. The I/O unit transmits a flag indicative of input of the input signal as a trigger and a value in the stopped counter to the numerical controller. Based on a time value measured by a timer and the counter value, the numerical controller calculates the time of input of the input signal.

A numerical controller is chain-connected with a plurality of I/O units so that it transmits DI/DO signals to and receives DI/DO signals from the I/O units by master-slave communication. The numerical controller counts signals generated by a timer circuit up to a predetermined number and sets, from among the plurality of I/O units, an I/O unit with which transfer of the DI/DO signals is to be performed for each count value. The DI/DO signals of the set I/O units are transferred according to the count value.

Numerical controller for communication with I/O units

Each of the host transmitting/receiving blocks of a plurality of I/O units connected to a CNC reads the destination specification data and a diagnostic result bit each time the host transmitting/receiving block receives a signal packet from the CNC. When the diagnostic result bit indicates the execution of a diagnosis, the signal packet contains diagnostic DO data, and the relevant DO signal output terminal is short-circuited to the relevant DI signal input terminal to form a diagnostic loop. The diagnostic packet signal passes through the diagnostic loop, the external signal transmitting/receiving block, and the host transmitting/receiving block and returns to the CNC through the host transmitting/receiving block of an adjacent I/O unit closer to the CNC. The CNC analyzes the packet signal to determine whether each of the I/O units is operating normally or not.

Method and system for diagnosing external signal input/output units

While a numerical controller is operating, an abnormality of a numerical control section is detected. In response to an abnormality detection signal, a motor deceleration stop control circuit of a servo section is actuated to perform speed control with a speed command '0', thereby stopping a motor. If an actual speed of the motor becomes not higher than a preset speed, an off command signal for turning off a DO signal is delivered to a PMC section. In response to this off command signal, the PMC section turns off a brake control DO or all DO signals. Thus, a brake device that is attached to the motor is activated to brake the motor.

Numerical controller with abnormal motor deceleration stop control means

A numerical controller in which group IDs are automatically allocated to I/O units so that the group IDs and addresses can be set automatically even when a system configuration is changed in response to detection of a configuration error. When a power of the numerical controller is turned on, group IDs are successively allocated to I/O units with distance from the numerical controller, and types of the I/O units are stored. Initial values of the group IDs allocated when the power is turned on for the first time after a system of the numerical controller is constructed, and addresses for the allocated group IDs are stored. An alarm is issued if the types and number of units for the group IDs automatically allocated for the second or later time of starting the numerical controller are different from the initial values.

The numerical control apparatus includes a numerical control part for outputting a move command, one motor control part for generating a PWM signal for a plurality of motors based on the move command from the numerical control part, and a plurality of motor amplfiers for driving the respective motors based on the PWM signal from the motor control part. The motor control part and the plurality of motor amplifiers are placed on a power panel, and the numerical control part and the motor control part are connected by a serial communication line.
