A multilayer body includes a multilayer structure including a glass ceramic layer including a glass and a filler and a ferrite layer including a ferrite, in which the glass ceramic layer has a glass content of about 30.0% or more by weight and about 80.0% or less by weight and a filler content of about 20.0% or more by weight and about 70.0% or less by weight, the glass included in the glass ceramic layer includes about 0.5% or more by weight and about 5.0% or less by weight RO (R represents at least one selected from the group consisting of Li, Na, and K), about 0% or more by weight and about 5.0% or less by weight AlO, about 10.0% or more by weight and about 25.0% or less by weight BO, and about 70.0% or more by weight and about 85.0% or less by weight SiObased on the total weight of the glass, and the filler included in the glass ceramic layer includes at least one of SiOand AlOand also includes about 5.0% or more by weight and about 15.0% or less by weight of a ferrite based on the total weight of the glass and the filler.

Multilayer body and electronic component

A first ceramic layer of a composite laminate included in a common mode choke coil is formed from a sintered body of a glass ceramic material. The glass ceramic material contains 40 to 90 percent by weight of a glass which contains 0.5 to 5 percent by weight of KO, 0 to 5 percent by weight of AlO, 10 to 25 percent by weight of BO, and 70 to 85 percent by weight of SiO; and 10 to 60 percent by weight of a filler containing alumina and quartz, and the content of the alumina contained in the filler is 1 to 10 percent by weight of the total amount of the glass and the filler.

Glass ceramic material and multilayer ceramic electronic component

A composite laminated ceramic electronic component that includes co-fired low dielectric-constant ceramic layers and high dielectric-constant ceramic layers. The low dielectric-constant ceramic layers and the high dielectric-constant ceramic layers are each composed of a glass ceramic containing: a first ceramic composed of MgAlOand/or MgSiO; a second ceramic composed of BaO, REO(where RE is a rare-earth element), and TiO; glass containing each of 44.0 to 69.0 weight % of RO (where R is an alkaline-earth metal), 14.2 to 30.0 weight % of SiO, 10.0 to 20.0 weight % of BO, 0.5 to 4.0 weight % of AlO, 0.3 to 7.5 weight % of LiO, and 0.1 to 5.5 weight % of MgO; and MnO. The content ratios of the glass, etc. are varied between the low dielectric-constant ceramic layers and the high dielectric-constant ceramic layers.

The content ratios of the first ceramic, second ceramic, glass, and MnO are varied between the low dielectric constant ceramic layers and the high dielectric constant ceramic layers, wherein the content of MnO in the low dielectric constant ceramic layers is 7.5-18.5 wt % MnO.

Composite laminate ceramic electronic component

A glass ceramic composition includes a SrZrOceramic, a LiO&#x2014;MgO&#x2014;ZnO&#x2014;BO&#x2014;SiO-based glass, Mg2SiO4 in an amount of about 5 to 40 weight percent, and a SrTiOceramic in an amount in the range of about 0 to about 6 weight percent of the total. The LiO&#x2014;MgO&#x2014;ZnO&#x2014;BO&#x2014;SiO-based glass accounts for about 1 to about 12 weight percent of the total.

Glass ceramic composition, glass ceramic sintered body, and monolithic ceramic electronic component

Provided is a glass ceramic composition which can be fired at a temperature of 1000&#xb0; C. or lower, and a sintered body of which has a low relative permittivity and a high Q value, stable temperature characteristic and high reliability, and is excellent in plating solution resistance. The glass ceramic composition provides a low dielectric constant layer for inclusion in a laminate glass ceramic substrate in a ceramic multilayer module. It includes a first ceramic having forsterite as the main constituent, a second ceramic having at least one of SrTiOand TiOas the main constituent, a third ceramic having BaZrOas the main constituent, a fourth ceramic having at least one of ZrOand MnO as the main constituent, and 3 weight % or more of a borosilicate glass containing LiO, MgO, BO, SiOand ZnO, which further contains an additive constituent including at least one of CaO and SrO.

Glass ceramic composition and glass ceramic substrate

A glass ceramic composition is provided which can be fired at a temperature of 1,000&#xb0; C. or less to form a sintered body having a low relative dielectric constant, a small temperature coefficient of resonant frequency, a small change in capacitance before and after a loading test, a high Qf value, high electrical insulating reliability, and a high flexural strength. A glass ceramic composition forming glass ceramic layers laminated to each other in a multilayer ceramic substrate is also provided. The glass ceramic composition includes a first ceramic powder containing forsterite as a primary component; a second ceramic powder containing SrTiOand/or TiOas a primary component; a third ceramic powder containing BaZrOas a primary component; a fourth ceramic powder containing SrZrOas a primary component; and a borosilicate glass which contains LiO, MgO, BO, SiO, and ZnO, and also which contains at least one of CaO, BaO, and SrO.
