Disclosed is an electrode for secondary battery, which comprises lithium or an alkali metal composed mainly of lithium doped as the active substance in a carrier composed of a mixture of a carbonaceous material satisfying the following conditions (A) and an organic polymer having ion conductivity of lithium. (A) a carbonaceous material with a hydrogen/carbon (H/C) atomic ratio of less than 0.15, a spacing (d.sub.002) of the (002) plane according to the X-ray wide angle diffraction method of 3.37 to 3.75 .ANG. and a crystallite size in the c-axis direction (Lc) of 5 .ANG. or more.

Electrode for secondary battery

An electrode for a secondary battery, comprising a net or sheet made of a metal having laminated thereon a mixture comprising 85 to 99.9% by weight of a carbonaceous material and 0.1 to 15% by weight of an elastomer. The carbonaceous material has a hydrogen/carbon (H/C) atomic ratio of less than 0.15, a spacing (d.sub.002) of the (002) plane according to an X-ray wide angle diffraction method of 3.37 .ANG. to 3.75 .ANG., a volume average particle size of 0.5 .mu.m and a total fine pore volume of 1.5.times.10.sup.-3 ml/g or more. Lithium or a material substantially comprising lithium is carried on the carbonaceous material. The electrode has a thickness of 5 to 500 .mu.m. The resultant electrode has an high energy density, and has the requisite flexibility to obtain a coil-shaped electrode.

A polyacetal resin composition comprising a polyacetal, a polyolefin, and carbon black dispersed in a special morphology, which is excellent in thermal conductivity, sliding property, moldability, and molding appearance. The composition provides a sliding part for electrical equipments, e.g., gears, bearings, cams, etc., which has excellent sliding properties, makes low noise, and exhitits high abrasion resistance.

Polyacetal resin composition

A turntable comprising a disk-shaped substrate and a portion for receiving a disk-shaped recording medium is disclosed. The disk-shaped substrate is shaped from a thermoplastic composite resin having a dynamic shear modulus, G', of at least 1.5.times.10.sup.10 dyne/cm.sup.2, a G.sub.1 '(-40.degree. C.)/G.sub.2 '(100.degree. C.) ratio of up to 1.5, and a density of up to 2.0 g/cm.sup.3, and the receiving portion is formed on the top of the substrate from a thermoplastic elastomer having a hardness of 5 to 40. The turntable has high dimensional precision and will experience reduced warpage. The turntable is capable of being revolved in a stable manner to ensure an increased precision in reading information. In addition, the turntable has a rapid access time and is capable of attaining a steady speed of revolution in a shorter period of time after the power has been switched on.

Turntable for mounting recording medium in disk form

A resinous resistor made of a blend of a thermoplastic non-polar resin, a thermoplastic polar resin, graphite and carbon black. The volume inherent resistance value of the resistor can be precisely controlled to a predetermined value. The resistor is uniform in resistance.

There is disclosed a secondary battery using a non-aqueous solvent which comprises using a carbonaceous material obtained by carbonating an organic compound and having a pseudographite structure of a hydrogen/carbon ratio being 0.15 or less, a d.sub.002 being 3.37 .ANG. or more and a Lc being 150 .ANG. or less as a negative electrode. A semiconductive resin composition used in power cables having excellent properties is disclosed, which comprises 100 parts by weight of a base resin of at least one member selected from the group consisting of a low-density polyethylene, an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of 25% by weight or less and an ethylene/(meth)acrylate copolymer having a (meth)acrylate content of 20% by weight or less, and 6 to 25 parts by weight of electroconductive carbon black having a DBP-absorption number of 220 to 340 ml/100 g and an impurity metal residue of 0.2% by weight or less.

Semiconductive resin composition

An electromagnetic shielding material comprising a composition consisting of Mn-Zn ferrite powders, conductive carbon powders and organic high molecular weight compounds. The Mn-Zn ferrite powders may be contained in the range between 30 and 70 vol %. The composition has 10.sup.2 to 10.sup.-1 ohm.cm of volume resistivity and exhibits excellent electromagnetic absorbing property. The electromagnetic shielding material can prevent transmission of electromagnetic waves and attenuate refleted waves by absorbing the waves.
