According to one embodiment, an oscillation circuit includes: a ring oscillator; a first transistor having a gate terminal coupled to an output port of the ring oscillator and a drain terminal coupled to a first node; a second transistor having a drain terminal and a gate terminal that are both coupled to the first node; a third transistor having a gate terminal coupled to the first node and a drain terminal coupled to a second node; a fourth transistor having a gate terminal coupled to the first node and a drain terminal coupled to a third node; a fifth transistor having a drain terminal coupled to the second node and a source terminal coupled to the third node; and a voltage buffer having an input port coupled to the second node.

Oscillation circuit

According to an embodiment, there is provided an amplifier circuit including a first capacitive element, a first GM amplifier, and a second GM amplifier. The first GM amplifier includes a first input node, a second input node, and an output node. The output node is connected to one end of the first capacitive element. The second GM amplifier includes a first input node, a second input node, and an output node. The output node is connected to one end of the first capacitive element and the second input node.

An image reading device includes a first image reading unit to read an image of a medium placed on a placement portion, a cover unit, and a hinge portion. The cover unit is rotatable in a first direction from a first position to cover the placement portion toward a second position and in a second direction from the second position toward the first position. A current detection circuit has a differential amplification circuit that outputs a differential output current dependent on a voltage difference between input terminals and first and second feedback circuits that output a detection current in response to the differential output current and form a feedback path to each input terminal of the differential amplification circuit. First and second MOS transistors that generate voltages dependent on respective source-drain voltages at a time when drain currents in a forward direction and a backward direction flow through an output MOS transistor are connected to respective input terminals of the differential amplification circuit.

A cap sheet metal (and pivot sheet metal) is configured to be able to move linearly with a cap arm (and an arm stay) via engagement between an engagement hole and a fitting shaft. Furthermore, the cap sheet metal (and the pivot sheet metal) can move pivotally with respect to the cap arm (and the arm stay) using the fitting shaft, which engages with the engagement hole, as a pivotal shaft. Thus, even if, for example, the direction of biasing toward the applying roller deviates or a positional relationship with the applying roller deviates slightly, the liquid holding member moves and pivots in the bias direction depending on the deviation. As a result, the contacting pressure of a contacting portion on the applying roller can be made uniform.

Inkjet printing apparatus for applying uniform pressure on an applying roller

A liquid ejection apparatus includes a pressure sensor and a determining unit. The pressure sensor is configured to detect a pressure in an ink supply path for use in supplying ink from an ink tank to a recording head. The determining unit determines whether the ink supply path is anomalous based on a result of detection of the pressure in the ink supply path by the pressure sensor performed in response to application of a fluctuating pressure to the ink in the ink tank.

Liquid ejection apparatus

An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid applying apparatus that enables the viscosity of a liquid to be applied and the condition of supply of the liquid to be detected using conventional mechanisms and without the need for a viscometer or the like, thus allowing prevention of improper application of the liquid to a medium and mitigation of wear of an applying roller or the like, the apparatus having an inexpensive configuration. Thus, according to the present invention, a driving load on an applying roller driving motor is detected when an applying roller is driven. A liquid application apparatus includes an application member that applies a liquid supplied to an applied face to a printing medium by rotating an application roller and a liquid holding member that abuts against the applied face to form a liquid holding space for holding the liquid, and the amount of liquid that is held in the liquid holding space and makes contact with the application member in unit time is larger before an applying operation for applying the liquid to the printing medium than in the applying operation.

A recording apparatus includes a feed roller which feeds a paper sheet, a feed motor which drives the feed roller, and a loss-of-synchronism detecting unit which detects loss of synchronism of the feed motor. When loss of synchronism of the feed motor is detected by the loss-of-synchronism detecting unit, the rotational speed of the feed motor is reduced stepwise. Accordingly, it is not necessary to provide a high operational margin in the motor, and a recording apparatus, in which the motor and power supply costs are reduced, can be provided.

Sheet feeding apparatus and image forming apparatus provided with same

An ink media pack integrally formed with an ink receptacle portion receiving ink and a printing medium receptacle portion receiving a printing medium to be used in an ink-jet printing system is disclosed. In the pack, an optimal combination of ink and a printing medium to obtain a high quality image is housed. In an embodiment the printing medium is cloth and the ink contains dye which can dye the cloth. In another embodiment, the ink has a coloring agent content in a range of 2.0 Wt % to 15.0 Wt % and the printing medium has a bleeding ratio in a range of 2.0 times to 4.0 times.

Inks-and-printing-media-integrated pack, ink-jet printing apparatus and method

A pack integrally housing inks and printing media has an ink housing section arranged so as to overlap part of a printing media housing section . The ink housing section is configured to rotationally move around a rotational moving shaft so as to be opened and closed relative to the printing media housing section .
