A portable terminal comprising a housing which incorporates a receiving speaker, an earpiece portion which allows a user to listen to an output sound from the receiving speaker, a first sound emission portion and a second sound emission portion which guide the output sound from the receiving speaker to the earpiece portion, and a sound guide space which communicates the first sound emission portion and the second sound emission portion. The first sound emission portion is opposed to the receiving speaker. The second sound emission portion is formed in plane with and near to the first sound emission portion. The second sound emission portion is located at a center of the earpiece portion.

A portable telephone according to this invention includes a housing () which incorporates a display unit and a receiving speaker (), a first sound emission portion () and a second sound emission portion () which guide an output sound from the receiving speaker to the outside of the housing, a sound guide hole () which communicates the first sound emission portion and the second sound emission portion, and a screen () which protects the display unit. The first sound emission portion is formed at a position opposing an output sound generating main surface () of the receiving speaker, and the second sound emission portion is formed at a portion adjacent to the position opposing the output sound generating main surface. The sound guide hole is formed by covering a groove (), formed on the housing to connect the first sound emission portion to the second sound emission portion, with the screen. This arrangement enables stable emission of an output sound without sacrificing downsizing and thickness reduction of the portable telephone regardless of the position of an earpiece portion to allow a user to listen to the output sound that the user's ear pinna opposes.

The ease of assembly of a radial plunger pump is improved while preventing an external leakage of liquid. A pump housing 2 in the form of a cylinder having a closed bottom contains a pintle 4 therein, which is secured to the bottom of the pump housing 2 by a bolt 6. A rotor 8 is rotatably fitted around the pintle. The rotor is formed with a plurality of radially extending cylinder bores 8a, in each of which a plunger 10 is slidably disposed. A guide ring 16 is disposed around the rotor. A motor 20 is fastened to and secured to the opening of the pump housing, and includes a drive shaft which is connected to the rotor to drive it for rotation. By allowing parts to be assembled into the pump housing in one direction, the ease of assembly is improved while preventing a liquid leakage.

The present invention is directed to providing an accumulator for pulsation absorption on a feeding passage between a hydraulic pressure generating device and hydraulic pressure booster equipment, and to provide a restriction on a section of the feeding passage between the accumulator and the hydraulic pressure generating device. As the result, the pulsation caused by a pump is reduced by the restriction, and the pulsation thus reduced is absorbed by the accumulator. Therefore, pulsation is effectively decreased by the restriction and the accumulator, and the pulsation transmitted to the hydraulic pressure booster equipment is quite small.
