Provided is a technique of transporting an object to be transported to a machine tool more securely. A transport system includes a transport path, and a storage portion. The storage portion stores an object, and has a first reference shape. The transport system includes machine tools, and a transport device that moves on and the transport path and transports an object. The control unit executes a process of making a camera photograph the first reference shape to acquire a first image from the camera, and a process of correcting a control parameter to be used in transporting an object to be transported stored in the storage portion to the machine tool that is a transport destination on the basis of a position of the first reference shape in the first image.

Transport system, control method for transport system, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for transport system

A machining system includes a cover body having an opening and defining a machining area of a workpiece, a door portion provided in the opening, an actuator that operates the door portion between a first position at which the opening is closed and a second position at which the opening is opened, a controller that controls the actuator, and a robot arm that operates through the opening to convey a workpiece between the machining area and an external area outside the machining area. The controller controls the actuator such that the door portion is positioned at a third position when the robot arm conveys the workpiece. An opening area of the opening when the door portion is positioned at the third position is smaller than an opening area of the opening when the door portion is positioned at the second position.

A workpiece lifting and lowering device is provided with: a workpiece base supported as to be capable of being lifted and lowered, and mounting a workpiece; a link mechanism connected to the workpiece base, and lifting and lowering the workpiece base by converting a rotation motion to a lifting and lowering motion; and a driving mechanism rotationally driving the link mechanism through a transmission member.

Workpiece lifting and lowering device

A workpiece attachment/removal device includes a guide mechanism disposed along an X-axis before a table, first and second placement tables disposed at right and left sides of the table behind the guide mechanism, and a transfer mechanism moving along the X-axis while being guided by the guide mechanism. The transfer mechanism includes a base engaged with the guide mechanism and moving along the X-axis, a linear drive part moving the base along the X-axis, a pair of clamping arms having tip ends positioned at the table side, a clamping drive part opening and closing the clamping arms, and a turning drive part turning the clamping arms to move the tip ends of the clamping arms between a lower position and an upper position.

Workpiece attachment/removal device

In a workpiece loader device, a loader mechanism is configured to move a loader hand directly held by operator's hands to a desired position. A loader mechanism control part stores position coordinates as workpiece receiving position coordinates when the loader hand is moved by operator's hands to the workpiece receiving position and a completion of moving is confirmed.

Workpiece loader device

A tool changing unit moves between a magazine position and a changing position to transfer a tool. A machine tool has a plurality of tool changing positions. One of the tool changing positions is selected in advance for changing the tools next time. The tool changing unit and the tool mounted on a tool spindle move to the selected changing position for changing the tools in the selected changing position. Accordingly, the tool changing unit and the tool spindle move respective short distances for changing the tools, thereby shortening the non-machining time of a machine tool combined with the automatic tool changer.

Machine tool with automatic tool changer

A machine tool has a pair of guide rails and a pair of upper and lower ball screws. No forces are transferred between a beam of a double column frame and a movable unit. The guide rails are spaced from each other and disposed on a bed, and the movable unit is horizontally movably supported on the guide rails. The upper and lower ball screws are mounted respectively on upper and lower portions of the double column frame for moving the movable unit horizontally. Even when the beam is deformed by flexing downwardly by gravity, the movable unit moves stably and smoothly at a high speed to machine a workpiece highly accurately without being adversely affected by the deformation of the beam.

Machine tool

An APC is provided in a five-axis controlling vertical machining center. A spindle head is movable in three mutually transverse axes directions to a workpiece. A table disposed below swings to be positioned and is directed upwardly and indexed. A pallet setup base is provided outside a machining area. A pallet change arm has pallet grip portions for gripping and releasing the pallets. The arm makes a swivel motion and makes an ascending and descending motion. Thus, the pallet is transferred between the table and the pallet setup base and is received and discharged to the table and the pallet setup base.
