Injection molding machine

An actuator is driven by use of a power drive source, while drive output of the power drive source is switched among a plurality of different drive outputs. Values of a physical quantity regarding an operation state of the actuator and a physical quantity regarding energy consumption corresponding to the operation state are detected. One of the drive outputs is selected on the basis of the detected values and in accordance with a predetermined selection method, and the actuator is driven with the selected drive output.

Drive method for production machine

A screw shaft for driving an injection screw driving body in a motor-driven injection device is coupled to a motor shaft of an electric motor in engagement of splines. A spline for the motor shaft engaging with a spline disposed at the outer periphery at a shaft end of the screw shaft is fitted into a recess formed inside of a motor shaft end. A flange formed around the spline is clamped at end face of the motor shaft via a bolt, and is formed at the inner periphery of a bearing sleeve detachably mounted to the motor shaft. An annular groove is formed at the inner periphery of an opening of the bearing sleeve for the side of the screw shaft. A ring member for air-tightly sealing a clearance formed between the screw shaft and the bearing sleeve is fitted into the annular groove. The spline for the motor shaft engaging with the spline on the screw shaft is disposed at the inner periphery of the bearing sleeve independent of the motor shaft, thus achieving the coupling via the respective splines of the motors.

Coupling structure between injection driving screw shaft and electric motor in injection device

Centering of an injection heating cylinder and screw driver is provided even after assembly, using an electric injection mechanism with height adjustment for the screw driver. A front plate is provided with an injection heating cylinder having a screw installed inside at the front middle and a rear plate is provided with are electric motor for injection-driving. The plates are affixed to an installation member. The front and rear plates are linked by guide bars installed between them. The screw driver is inserted into the guide bar and movably disposed between the plates. A driving mechanism connected to an electric motor is composed of a ball screw shaft and a ball nut member, and is installed over the screw driver and the rear plate. A centering member slidably supports the screw driver and, moreover, provides height adjustment, and is installed at the sides of the screw driver.

Electric injection mechanism

A pressure detection apparatus of an injection molding machine composed of a drive mechanism and a movable member includes a pressure reception member disposed in the drive mechanism in such a manner as to be movable in a reciprocating direction of the movable member while being guided by a guide member. A ball screw or nut of a ball screw mechanism of the drive mechanism is fixedly attached to the pressure reception member. A load cell is disposed between the drive mechanism and the movable member in such a way as to be fixedly attached to one of a bearing ring retainer facing the movable member and the pressure reception member while abutting the other. The pressure reception member receives stress (load) directed in a rotation direction and arising from the ball screw or nut, thereby preventing imposition of the stress (load) on the load cell.

Pressure detection apparatus of injection molding machine

A drive motor has a shaft supported by a casing to be rotatable and movable in the axial direction over a predetermined stroke. A portion of the shaft is utilized in order to form a rotary motor section for rotating the shaft, and another portion of the shaft is utilized in order to form an electromagnetic plunger section for moving the shaft in the axial direction. The rotary motor section and the electromagnetic plunger section are integrally built in the casing. The drive motor is used in a drive apparatus for a pre-plasticization-type injection molding machine. The front end of the shaft is connected to the rear end of a screw disposed within a barrel of a plasticizing unit of molding machine. Through axial movement of the shaft, a resin passage of the barrel is opened and closed by a valve portion provided at the front end of the screw.

Drive motor and drive apparatus for a molding machine

A motor drive apparatus is provided in an injection molding machine in order to supply electrical energy to a motor. The motor drive apparatus includes an electricity accumulation unit for accumulating electrical energy; and an electricity accumulation circuit for accumulating in the electricity accumulation unit electrical energy regenerated from the motor during a deceleration period of the motor and for supplying the electrical energy accumulated in the electricity accumulation unit to the motor during an acceleration period of the motor. By virtue of the above-described structure, when a heavy member such as a screw of an injection apparatus or a movable platen of a mold clamping apparatus is moved at high speed in each molding cycle, at the beginning of movement or during an acceleration period of the motor, the electricity accumulation circuit adds the electrical energy accumulated in the accumulation unit to electrical energy that is supplied from a power source to the motor, and during a deceleration period of the motor, electrical energy regenerated from the motor is accumulated in the accumulation unit.

Motor drive apparatus for an injection molding machine

A motor control apparatus for an injection molding machine has a control function section for stopping a drive motor; i.e., a servomotor in order to stop a movable member, upon reception of an open signal indicating that a safety door is opened. The motor control apparatus further includes an additional control function section for performing position control for the servomotor, upon reception of the open signal, so as to stop the movable member at a predetermined position. Therefore, when the safety door is opened and thus the open signal is supplied to the additional control function section, the additional control function section performs position control for the servomotor such that the movable member stops at the predetermined position.
