Document camera

A document camera includes a base, a first arm assembled to the base, a second arm assembled to the first arm, and a camera head assembled to the second arm. The first arm is pivotable between a parallel extending position and a raised position. The second arm is pivotable between a juxtaposed position and a raised position and between the raised position and a parallel extending position. The camera head is pivotable between a juxtaposed position and a position where the camera head is raised from the second arm. When the document camera is to be folded, the first arm is set to the parallel extending position, the second arm and the camera head are to the respective juxtaposed positions. When the document camera has been folded, upper surfaces of the first and second arms and the camera head are substantially coplanar.

Visual presenter

In an imaging device, as a baseis moved from a certain position on an upper side of an imaging area SA to a different position on a left side of the imaging area SA, a camera headis pivotally rotated together with a head-side armrelative to a second arm. Such combination of the movement of the basewith the pivotal rotation of the camera headchanges the operation mode of the imaging devicefrom a first working mode to a second working mode and enables the imaging deviceto take images in the second working mode. Regardless of the positional change of the basefrom the position on the upper side of the imaging area SA to the position on the left side of the imaging area SA with the change of the operation mode of the imaging devicefrom the first working mode to the second working mode, an up-down positional relation in an imaging view field of an internal camera, which is incorporated in the camera headand is operated to shoot downward and take an image of a shooting object sheet ST set in the imaging area SA, is kept unchanged relative to the shooting object sheet ST.

Imaging device

An attachment connects an eyepiece lens tube of microscope and an imaging lens tube of visual presenter and includes a cylindrical part loosely fittable through an opening with the eyepiece lens tube, a circular receiving surface which is formed on the cylindrical part and which a distal end of the imaging lens abuts, the receiving surface having a through hole, an indication line indicative of a center of the hole, a positioning piece standing along an outer circumferential edge of the receiving surface and having an inner circumferential surface with a curvature radius substantially equal to a curvature radius of outer circumference surface of the imaging lens tube, the outer circumferential surface of the imaging lens tube, and at least three screw members which are threadingly thrust radially through a circumferential surface of the cylindrical part into the cylindrical part, the screw members being arranged equiangularly.

Attachment for use with visual presenter

A zoom dial mechanism includes a zoom dial mounted on a base plate so as to extend through a central hole of the base plate and so as to be turnable, a coil spring mounted on the base plate to urge the zoom dial toward a neutral position, and a push knob mounted in a central hole of the dial. The base plate has a groove concentric with the central hole. The coil spring is mounted in the groove. The mechanism further includes a first rib fixed to the dial so as to abut one end of the coil spring and a second rib fixed to the dial so as to abut the other end of the spring. The spring is compressed by the first rib when the dial is turned clockwise, and the coil spring is compressed by the second rib when the dial is turned counterclockwise.

Zoom dial mechanism

A head arm pivot shaft support mechanismhas a cord covering unitincluding a first part, a second part, and a third part. The first partand the second partare located on a side of one head-side engagement legof bifurcated head-side engagement legsandand are arranged to be rotatable about a pivot shaft member. The first partand the second partrespectively have an arc-shaped peripheral walland an arc-shaped peripheral wallprotruded toward the third partto fill a space on a bifurcation base side between the bifurcated head-side engagement legsand. The third partis located on a side of the other head-side engagement legand is arranged to be rotatable about the pivot shaft member. The third parthas a first arc-shaped peripheral walland a second arc-shaped peripheral wallprotruded toward the first partand the second partto fill spaces between edges of the arc-shaped peripheral wallof the first partand edges of the arc-shaped peripheral wallof the second part. A cord extended from an internal camera incorporated in a camera headruns through a cutformed in the arc-shaped peripheral walland a cutformed in the arc-shaped peripheral walland is covered with these arc-shaped peripheral wallsandwith avoiding interference with the pivot shaft member

Arm pivot shaft support mechanism and imaging device equipped with the same

A visual presenter includes a camera support arm including a pivot support arm pivotally supported on a base and having an interior cavity and a slide support arm which is inserted into the interior cavity of the pivot support arm so as to be slidable and having a distal end on which the image pickup camera is mounted. When the pivot support arm is caused to pivot from a storage location where the camera support arm lies to a setup location where the camera support arm stands up, the slide support arm is pushed out of the pivot support arm by the sliding mechanism so that the image pickup camera is set up at a predetermined location. When the pivot support arm is caused to pivot from the setup location to the storage location, the slide support arm is brought into the pivot support arm by the sliding mechanism.

A visual presenter includes a camera support arm pivotally mounted on a base and having one end on which a camera is mounted, a pivot support including a bracket, a pivot having one end formed with a male thread, a disc spring fitted with the male thread and a nut brought into threading engagement with the male thread so that the spring is fastened to the bracket by the nut with a result that a brake force is effected and a free stop function is given to the pivot support, and a one-way clutch fitted with the pivot to allow the pivot support to be free against rotation causing the pivot support to stand up and to exert a clutching function against rotation causing the pivot support to lie. The camera support arm is pivotally mounted on the pivot support with the one-way clutch being interposed between them.

A visual presenter includes a body including a base and a support column on which an imaging camera is mounted, a stage which is separate from the body and is formed with a placement surface on which a material to be presented is placed, a positioner located on the base, and a positioned member located on the stage so as to be connectable to the positioner so that the placement surface falls within an imaging range of the imaging camera.

Image pickup apparatus

An imaging apparatus that outputs an image of an object taken by an imaging device to an external display device is disclosed. The imaging apparatus includes a main body, a lid serving as a leg to support the main body, and electronics devices such as a controller within the main body. The lid is rotatably engaged with one end of the main body. In a first configuration, the lid overlaps the main body, and in a second configuration the lid and the main body form a V-shape, such that one end of the lid is separated from the main body. In the second configuration, the main body stands tilted and is supported by the lid, such that they straddle a top surface of the object supporter such as desktop. The imaging unit may thus be pointed toward the object located in the straddled region.
