In an archive device which has a disc storing case which stores a plurality of discs, a disc writing/reading unit having an ODD, and a disc conveying unit which conveys each of the discs between both, the fixing strength for a drive fixer to be incorporated to fix the ODD can be increased. The archive device includes holding members which fix surfaces of the ODD in a direction parallel to a direction in which the disc is delivered and received between the disc conveying unit and the ODD, one of the holding members integrally including a detecting member which detects a relative position of the disc storing case with respect to the ODD. The holding members for the surfaces of the ODD may be individual components, and may be integrally formed.

Archive device

A printed circuit board (PCB) is attached on a surface of a tray that is opposed to a chassis main or a bottom plate of a housing. On the tray and in a vicinity of a position where the PCB is disposed, a first protruding portion is formed to protrude toward the chassis main, on which a second protruding portion is formed at a position to be opposed to the first protruding portion. Between the first protruding portion and the second protruding portion is a clearance while the tray is accommodated in the housing. When the tray deforms, the second protruding portion supports the first protruding portion to prevent further deformation of the tray.

Optical disc apparatus

A tray of an optical disk device and an optical disk device including the tray are provided. In a tray rear portion located at a higher level than a tray bottom portion, a first tapered surface as a draft taper and a second tapered surface sloping more gently than the first tapered surface are formed. An upper end of the second tapered surface is located farther from a center of rotation of an optical disk than a lower end, and thus air in a peripheral portion of the optical disk generated during rotation of the disk is introduced along the tapered surface to a rear.

A multilayer ceramic circuit board and method of forming such circuit board are disclosed. The wiring pattern for the multilayer ceramic circuit board includes multiple-layer portions, the multiple-layer portions including first and second electrically conductive layers, respectively a tungsten layer and a copper thick film, for example, with a diffusion layer therebetween for improving adhesivity of the first and second electrically conductive layers to each other. Such multiple-layer portions are provided by providing first and second electrically conductive layers, and an intermediate layer between the first and second electrically conductive layers, and diffusing at least one component from the intermediate layer into both the first and second electrically conductive layers. Thus, a multilayer ceramic circuit board with, e.g., a firmly coupled tungsten layer and copper thick film can be provided.

Power amplifier

A current mirror circuit comprised of three transistor devices, each transistor device including an input terminal and first and second output terminals. Two of the devices have their input terminals connected together and one output terminal of each device is connected to a respective current output terminal. The other output terminal of each device is adapted to be supplied with an operating voltage. Each of the first and second transistor devices is formed of at least a pair of transistors connected in Darlington-type configuration. In one embodiment, these Darlington-connected transistors are of complementary types. The third transistor device has its input terminal coupled to one of the current output terminals and one of its output terminals coupled to the common-connected input terminals of the first and second transistor devices. The remaining output terminal of the third transistor device is coupled to a reference potential. The third transistor device also is formed of at least a pair of transistors connected in Darlington-type configuration. In one embodiment, a current feedback resistor is connected to one output terminal of each of the first and second transistor devices. In another embodiment, each of the first and second transistor devices includes one transistor whose base is supplied with current by another transistor, this base being coupled to the current output terminal by a bias resistor.

Current mirror circuit and apparatus for using same

A circuit adapted to detect an angle-modulated signal including a pair of terminals to which the angle-modulated signal is supplied in push-pull relation and a high-pass filter circuit coupled to the pair of terminals for transmitting those frequencies of the angle-modulated signal which exceed a cut-off frequency. A differential amplifier has a pair of inputs coupled to the high-pass filter circuit to receive the filtered angle-modulated signal as a reference signal and a quadrature generator is coupled to the high-pass filter circuit and is responsive to the filtered reference signal for generating a quadrature signal whose phase varies with respect to the reference signal as a function of the change in frequency of the reference signal. A multiplier is coupled to the differential amplifier outputs and includes an input for receiving the quadrature signal so as to be switched in response to these respective signals for producing an output signal which is a function of the phase difference between the reference and quadrature signals.
