Plural magnetic sheets () are laminated in circumference direction to form a cylindrical laminated core. Sheets for protecting paint films of automobiles which can adhere with no wrinkle to paint films of automobiles and cover the same, even in curved surface portions, at a high reliability while achieving excellent protection function to colliding matters, etc. (i.e., the inherent function of protecting sheets) and being easily peeled and removed after completion of the aimed protection, thus preventing the permeation of rainwater, etc. and protecting the paint films of automobiles from being damaged by denaturation, etc. Such a sheet for protecting paint films of automobiles comprises a support () comprising a polymer film () having a nonwoven fabric () laminated on one or both surfaces thereof, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer () formed on one surface of the polymer film, wherein the non-woven fabric has a basic weight of 5 to 100 g/m.

A sputtering target is provided that includes SiC and metallic Si and has an atomic ratio of C to Si of from 0.5 to 0.95 and a density of from 2.75&times;10 kg/m to 3.1&times;10 kg/m . The sputtering target is capable of forming at high speed a film that contains SiO as the main component and has a low refractive index. A sheet for protecting paint films of automobiles which can prevent the paint film of automobiles from suffering from damages such as discoloration and denaturation even if rainwater or washer penetrates into the gap between the adhesive cover and the paint film while achieving excellent protection function to suspended matters, colliding matters, etc. inherent to protecting sheets and being easily peeled off and removed after completion of the desired protection. The sheet for protecting paint films of automobiles comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having a roughened surface provided on a substrate made of fiber sheet. Even when rainwater, washer, etc. penetrates into the gap between the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the paint film of automobiles from wrinkles formed thereon, the liquid diffuses by capillary action through the gap developed by the roughened pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, making it possible to avoid the residence and concentration of the penetrated dirty water and hence prevent the occurrence of damages such as discoloration and denaturation of the paint film. Further, the arrangement of a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having a roughened surface reflecting the fiber constituting the protecting sheet, particularly a fibrous continuous roughened surface, makes it possible to further diffuse the contaminating dirty water and hence further avoid the retention and concentration of the penetrated dirty water. Thus, the damages on the paint film can be more securely prevented.

A sheet for protecting a paint film which does not deteriorate or discolor the paint film even when the sheet is adhered to protect the paint film under the condition containing acidic rainwater or detergent and can maintain the adhered state over an extended-period of time without peeling off is disclosed. The sheet for protecting a paint film comprises a porous substrate and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on one surface of the porous substrate. The sheet has an air permeability in a direction of sheet thickness of 20,000 sec/100 cc or more and a moisture permeability in a direction of sheet thickness of 2,000 g/m &middot;24 hr or more. A pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising 100 parts by weight of an isobutylene polymer having been masticated in an organic solvent with a radical generator and 0.001 to 5 parts by weight of at least one release control agent selected from the group consisting of an alcohol having a molecular weight of 90 to 300 and an oxygen atom content of 8.5% or more or a derivative thereof and a carboxylic acid having a molecular weight of 70 to 400 and an oxygen atom content of 11% or more or a derivative thereof; and a surface protecting material having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprising the adhesive. The adhesive has well-balanced characteristics in initial adhesion, retention of initial adhesion, and weather resistance.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive and surface protecting material

A sheet for protecting a paint film is disclosed, which does not cause deterioration or discoloration the paint film even when the sheet is adhered to protect the paint film under the condition containing water or water vapor over a long period of time and thus can maintain the adhered state without peeled off the sheet. The sheet for protecting a paint film comprises a multi-layer substrate comprising a water or water vapor barrier layer as a surface layer and a water or water vapor-permeable layer as a back, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on the water or water vapor-permeable layer.

A sheet for protecting paint film comprising a support having formed thereon a rubber adhesive layer comprising an isobutylene polymer having a degree of dispersion of from 1 to 2.3 and a weight average molecular weight of 300,000 to 600,000 (the domain A in the FIGURE) as the base polymer. The paint film protecting sheet has the compatibility of the prevention of the occurrence of a microdeformation and a good peelability. That is, when an article such as automobiles having a paint film applied with the protecting sheet is placed outdoors for a long period of time at high temperature, the paint film is hard to deform and the sheet can be easily peeled even after adhering for a long period of time.

A sheet for protecting paint films of automobiles for adhering to the incompletely cured paint films of automobiles comprising two pack urethane paint, the sheet comprising a support and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed thereon, wherein the sheet has a Young's modulus E of at least 75 N/mm.sup.2 and a coefficient of flexural stress k represented by the formula k=Eh.sup.3 wherein h is a thickness of the support, of 0.035 or less. The protective sheet can uniformly protect the paint films and easily be peeled and removed therefrom without causing environmental problems and adhesive remaining of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. Even when the sheet is adhered to incompletely cured paint films of automobiles and they are allowed to stand for a long period of time under an outside high temperature in summer, the sheet does not cause the deformation of the paint film and the microdeformations by the deformation of the paint film at the edge portion of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The protective sheet can be reserved in a roll state without causing the change of form by, for example, a telescope phenomenon.

A magnetic circuit unit for a loud-speaker is provided, in which an adhesion step can be reduced or omitted, magnetic properties can be improved through enhancement of magnetic efficiency, and a durable anti-corrosive treatment can be performed at low price, so that higher performance and lower cost of the loud-speaker can be attained. A top plate has a conical, columnar, truncated conical, or partially spherical hollow part formed on one side whose inner surface is integrated with an anisotropic Nd--Fe--B system magnet under a forming pressure of 100 to 200 kgf/cm.sup.2 through Joule heating by passing a current under compression. The forming die is cooled to a temperature below 100.degree. C. while maintaining the pressure, and the compact is then taken out from the forming die. This integrated compact is adhered to an outer yoke, and a looped yoke and a loop anisotropic Nd--Fe--B system magnet are also adhered thereon to fabricate a magnetic circuit unit. Subsequently, this magnet circuit unit is dipped in acrylic resin emulsion, and a coating of 7 to 15 .mu.m thick is formed by using a rotary coating device.

A paint film-protective sheet comprising a supporting substrate having formed thereon a rubber-based pressure-sensitive layer comprising a rubber-based polymer having a low polarity and which does not contain unsaturated bonds or contains a small amount of unsaturated bonds, and a high-polar additive. The paint film-protective sheet can adhere even to a paint film which is liable to cause a poor adhesion by bleeding, etc., without need of applying a cleaning treatment, can maintain the good adhered state over a long period of time, and can be easily peeled cleanly even after adhering for a long period of time.
