A method for manufacturing solid structural material using a three-dimensional five-axial woven fabric. In weaving a three-dimensional five-axial woven fabric W using a three-dimensional weaving machine, divisibly woven sections are formed in portions of a manufactured three-dimensional five-axial woven fabric by alternately driving an upper and a lower insertion members for inserting a vertical yarn from above and below, respectively, in such a manner that each of the insertion members and a weft insertion rapier are driven with different timings.

Method for manufacturing solid structural material and foundation fabric therefor

An airship envelope manufacturing method uses a braider such that the envelope is formed as one object composed by the braider. A pair of braiding materials, whose braiding angle is &plusmn;&thgr;&deg; to the axis, and an axial material whose angle is 0&deg; to the axis, are organized as the braiding layer by the braider BR and the envelope En shaped like the airship is composed as one body by the braiding layer. The thickness of the braiding layer in both of the axial end parts of the airship envelope is arranged to be formed thinner than the thickness in the axial central part. The three braiding layers can be a spindle-shaped tape made of a plurality of parallel fibers having non-identical lengths, and the width of the spindle-shaped tape along the airship axis can be a function of an airship diameter along the airship axis.

The present invention provides a multifunction bed that has a simple structure to allow its size to be reduced and that can be automatically changed between a bed form and a wheelchair form using very simple operations. This multifunction bed comprises a fixed U-shaped bed,having a U-shaped cut-out section,and a movable auxiliary bed,that is detachably fitted in the U-shaped cut-out section of the fixed U-shaped bed. The movable auxiliary bed can travel on underlying wheels,and,and can be changed between a bed form for a horizontal position and a wheelchair form having a backrest section,a seat section,and a leg-rest section,In order to prevent a person lying on the bed from being pushed forward while the movable auxiliary bed is being changed to the wheelchair form, the seat section is inclined according to the inclination of the backrest section so that part of the seat section closer to the leg rest section is located higher than the remaining part, thereby allowing the buttocks of the person lying on the bed to sink relative to the bed form.

In order to reduce the weight and cost of LPG pressure-resistant containers, thermo-plastic resin is used in the continuous formation of a hollow container wherein the outer surface of a hollow continuous liner is continuously braided with multiple yarns. The present invention is a system for forming a braided hollow container comprised of a continuous liner forming section 1 which continuously forms the continuous liner 70 for the inner layer 72 of the hollow container in the axial direction through a hollow joining section 71, a braid forming section 2 which uses a braiding machine BR to braid the outside of the continuous liner to form the continuous braided body 73, cutting section 3 which cuts the continuous braided body in the radial direction in the hollow joint section, and a plug welding section 4 which welds a plug 75 to the openings formed by the cutting section; and the pressure-resistant container formed using said system.

A carrier transport device is provided with a stator table comprised of a plurality of stators 4 which themselves are comprised of cores 2 and coils 3, and a carrier C in which permanent magnets m1-m4 are provided such that by passing an appropriate current through the coil, the cores of the stators are magnetized. The attraction or repulsion generated between the cores of the stators and the permanent magnets of the carrier is used to transport the carrier along the stator table in two dimensions. This carrier transport device allows for transport of a carrier in two dimensions with a simple design for quick transport of a carrier, and for reliably bringing the carrier to a stop at a predetermined location.

A three-dimensional weaving machine that enables biased yarn guide blocks to be reduced in size and their movement to be simplified and that reliably feeds biased yarns is described. A three-dimensional mechanism contains 2N guide blocks (13), each including a biased yarn through-hole (15) extending along the length direction. A guide block receiving and supporting device (18) forms guide block arrangement spaces (S1), (S2), and (S3) in a bottom stage, a middle stage, and a top stage wherein N of the 2N guide blocks can be arranged in each stage parallel with, and adjacent to, one another. A guide block moving device (22) is provided for moving the guide blocks in each stage in opposite directions along the respective stages, and a shifting device (44) operates for simultaneously shifting two adjacent sets of guide blocks movably arranged in the respective guide block arrangement spaces, each by one stage.

Three-dimensional weaving machine

A braider having a mandrel support member which is pivotable around a braiding point and linearly movable toward and away from the braiding point. Since control of the position of the mandrel is performed by pivotal motion around the braiding point and linear movement in a direction toward the braiding point, the mandrel can be moved to an arbitrary position without depending upon movement of the mandrel by a great distance in one direction.

Braider

In a winder provided with a control device capable of independently controlling rotational speeds of both motors for a friction roller having a winding package placed thereon and a traverse mechanism, a driving method for a winder comprising: obtaining a difference between an output of a first sensor for detecting a rotational speed of a package and an output of a second sensor for detecting a rotational speed of a friction roller, attenuating the difference to an adjustable value to prepare a correction value, subtracting the correction value from the output of the second sensor, and using the result obtained therefrom as a control input of the both motors to enable selection of a plurality of winding patterns.

Doubler winder

A piecing apparatus for a doubler provided with a processing robot which moves along units of a doubler. The piecing apparatus comprises two piecing devices, a suction mouth for sucking and holding a yarn on the side of a winding package to guide it toward the piecing device, a relay pipe for sucking and holding a yarn on the side of a feed package to guide it toward the piecing device, an upper yarn separating device for separating a doubled yarn on the side of each winding package guided toward the piecing device, and a lower yarn separating device for separating a yarn on the side of each feed package guide toward the piecing device.

Piecing method and apparatus for a doubler

A feed yarn package conveyor system which is capable of automatically conveying feed yarn package to a doubler. It comprises a discharge conveyor and a feed conveyor along the front and rear sides of a machine base; conveyors arranged in two rows on the right and left sides of each spindle, divided to the front and rear; a series of conveyors ranging from the discharge conveyor to the feed conveyor being declined towards the front of the machine base, with the front conveyor on the side of each spindle being set in a take-up position, such that the conveyors will be declined towards a center when feed yarn packages have been received thereat.

Method and apparatus for separating a doubled yarn into single yarns in order to piece a doubled yarn. The doubled yarn is separated by separating members such as a clamper opened and closed in a manner of scissors, push- and separate member having an extreme end sharpened, and a plurality of yarn separating rollers having tapered portions being placed in contact with each other. Feelers or sensors may be located to provide a yarn separation signal.

A bobbin discharge apparatus having a device for detecting a remaining yarn of a bobbin. A non-contact type sensor such as a photo sensor for detecting the presence or absence of the remaining yarn on a bobbin is arranged on a carrier passage of bobbins, and the bobbin and the sensor are provided relatively movably.

A kink preventing device for preventing occurrence of a kink in a yarn drawn out from a yarn supply bobbin of a winder includes a pair of kink bars supported for opening and closing movement with the yarn supply bobbin interposed therebetween and each having a contacting portion which is arcuately opened along an outer peripheral portion of the bobbin, and a kink bar opening and closing means for moving the kink bars to close until the contacting portions thereof are abutted with each other to connect the kink bars in a ring-like configuration to each other.
