One of two clutches etc. engaged concurrently with each other to establish a second speed, a third speed, or a fourth speed is determined in advance as an abnormal-time engagement element that is kept engaged when an abnormality occurs in which one different clutch or brake is engaged during concurrent engagement of the two clutches etc. The other of the two clutches etc. is determined in advance as an abnormal-time slipping element that is caused to slip when such an abnormality occurs. During concurrent engagement of the two clutches etc., a hydraulic pressure (target hydraulic pressure) to be supplied to the abnormal-time engagement element is set to be higher than a hydraulic pressure (target hydraulic pressure) to be supplied to the abnormal-time slipping element.

Control device and control method for speed change device

A control device for a lockup clutch of a vehicle. A slip control device executes slip control to make a rotational speed difference between the input member and the input shaft match a target slip speed according to a state of the vehicle by half engagement of the lockup clutch. A clutch temperature obtaining means obtains a clutch temperature of the lockup clutch. A determining means determines if the lockup clutch should be fully engaged or disengaged based on at least a state of the motor if the clutch temperature becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature during execution of the slip control. A slip control stop means for stopping the slip control by fully engaging or disengaging the lockup clutch according to the determination result of the determining means.

Control device and control method for lockup clutch

A vehicle transmission device includes an input member coupled to a combustion engine and a rotary electric machine; an output member coupled to wheels; a speed change mechanism with a plurality of friction engagement elements and that provides a plurality of shift speeds; and a control device that controls the speed change mechanism. When a during-regeneration downshift is performed while the rotary electric machine is outputting regenerative torque, the control device sets a target increase capacity, which is a target value of a transfer torque capacity of an engagement-side element to be engaged after an increase, increases the transfer torque capacity of the engagement-side element to the target increase capacity over a predetermined torque capacity increase period, and decreases a transfer torque capacity of a disengagement-side element, which is to be disengaged, over a predetermined torque capacity decrease period that at least partially overlaps the torque capacity increase period.

If it is determined that a D range is in use and determined that a vehicle is stopped, neutral control means () commands and controls an engagement pressure of a clutch (C-) so as to achieve a state in which a piston of the clutch (C-) contacts a clutch drum by a biasing force of a spring, and a state in which oil fills an oil passage from a linear solenoid valve (SLC) to a hydraulic oil chamber and fills the hydraulic oil chamber. There is thus no drag loss in the clutch (C-) during a neutral control, and the same fuel economy as when, for example, a manual shift to the neutral range is made can be achieved during the neutral control.

A control apparatus of an automatic transmission including a start intended operation detecting unit detecting a vehicle starting operation; and a clutch control unit engaging the clutch from the clutch disengaged state and the automatic speed change mechanism is placed in a neutral state, when the vehicle starting operation is detected. A control apparatus of an automatic transmission having an automatic speed change mechanism for changing a driving source speed of rotation and a clutch engaged at a start, a fluid transmission apparatus between the driving source and the automatic speed change mechanism, and a lock-up clutch for locking up the fluid transmission apparatus. The control apparatus includes a range unit that determines a shift range including a drive range, a vehicle stop unit that determines a stop of a vehicle, a start intended operation unit that detects an intended start vehicle operation, a clutch control unit that controls the clutch to be disengaged to place the automatic speed change mechanism in a neutral state while the shift range is determined to be the drive range and the vehicle is determined to be stopped, and performs engagement control of the clutch to control the start of the vehicle when the operation intended for starting the vehicle is detected, and a lock-up clutch control unit that controls the lock-up clutch to be engaged while the shift range is determined to be the drive range and the vehicle is determined to be stopped, and controls the lock-up clutch so that the lock-up clutch is at least engaged in a slip region in which a predetermined torque capacity is obtained, when the operation intended for starting the vehicle is detected.

Control apparatus of automatic transmission

A control device for controlling a transmission device configured such that when the speed change mechanism performs switching to a shift speed with a different speed ratio, special speed change control is executed in which a disengagement hydraulic pressure, is lowered to cause a disengagement element to slip, and in which the disengagement element is maintained in a slipping state over an entire speed change process. In the case where slipping of the disengagement element is not detected within a predetermined time after the disengagement hydraulic pressure is lowered at start of the special speed change control, pressure increase correction is performed in which an engagement hydraulic pressure, which is a hydraulic pressure of hydraulic oil for an engagement element that is a friction engagement element to be engaged, is raised until slipping of the disengagement element is detected.

A transmission configured with a speed change control unit which, when upshifting the speed in an accelerator on condition, executes an engagement control including a torque phase control after executing a filling control, which controls the hydraulic control unit in such a way that a hydraulic servo of the engagement side frictional engagement element is filled with hydraulic oil, and a standby control, which controls the hydraulic control unit in such a way that hydraulic pressure for the hydraulic servo is maintained at a preset standby pressure. A correction unit is configured to correct at least one of an execution time of the filling control and the standby pressure to an increment side when a fluctuation in a rotational acceleration of the input shaft exceeding a preset determination reference is detected after the standby control.

Transmission device and controlling method thereof

A vehicle driving apparatus configured with a drive power source, a fluid coupling, a transmission apparatus; and a control apparatus. A rotation of a drive input member driven by the drive power source is transmitted to a shift input member via the fluid coupling and a rotation of the shift input member is shifted by the transmission apparatus and then transmitted to an output member. When a state shift command for shifting from a non-transmission state to a transmission state is input into a control apparatus in a state in which the drive power source does not generate a driving force, the control apparatus performs a shift input rotation operation before engaging a frictional engagement element and shifting to the transmission state by causing the drive power source to generate the driving force and rotating the shift input member via the fluid coupling while maintaining the non-transmission state.

Vehicle driving apparatus

A control device includes an input member drivingly coupled to at least one of an internal combustion engine and a rotating electrical machine as driving force sources of a vehicle. When downshifting or upshifting the control device controls the engagement pressure of a direct coupling clutch to a pressure lower than the direct coupling limit engagement pressure during downshifting, when downshifting in a state in which required input torque, which is torque that is required to be transferred to the input member, is set to a positive torque, and the control device controls the engagement pressure of the direct coupling clutch to a pressure equal to or higher than the direct coupling limit engagement pressure during downshifting or upshifting, when performing downshifting in a state in which the required input torque is set to a negative torque, or when performing upshifting regardless of the required input torque.

A device with a stepped automatic transmission to transfer power from a power source to an axle using changeable shift speeds includes an input-side fluid transmission element connected to the power source, an output-side fluid transmission element connected to the transmission input shaft, a lock-up clutch engaging and disengaging the input-side and the output-side fluid transmission elements; a unit adjusting the lock-up clutch; a unit setting, when a downshift is to be performed in response to a predetermined request for a large drive force, a predetermined target slip speed value larger than a non-shifting-time value before a rotational speed of the power source exceeds a input shaft rotational speed after the downshift, and setting the target slip speed to decrease toward the non-shifting-time value along with lapse of time after the power source rotational speed source exceeds the post-shifting input shaft speed; and a unit controlling the engagement force so the slip speed becomes the set target slip speed. The target slip speed is a difference between the rotational speeds of the power source and the input shaft, and the non-shifting-time value is set when no shifting is performed.

Power transfer device and control method thereof, and lock-up clutch device

A vehicle control device that includes an input member drive-coupled to an engine and a rotary electrical machine; an output member; and a transmission having a plurality of friction engagement elements, in which a plurality of shift speeds are switched by controlling engagement and release of the plurality of friction engagement elements, and a rotary driving force of the input member is shifted by a change gear ratio of one of the shift speeds and outputted to the output member.
