A projection optical apparatus includes an optical system and a projection optic enclosure that accommodates the optical system. The optical system includes a first optical system on which the image light is incident, and the projection optic enclosure includes a first accommodation section that accommodates the first optical system and includes a flange section (supported section) supported by the image forming apparatus and a first wall section and a second wall section that face each other in a first direction (Y direction) that intersects the direction along a line that connects the flange section to the center of gravity of the projection optical apparatus.

A projector includes a light source apparatus, a light modulator that modulates a light flux outputted from the light source apparatus in accordance with image information, a projection lens that projects the light flux modulated by the light modulator, an exterior enclosure that accommodates the light source apparatus, the light modulator, and the projection lens, an exhaust fan (first exhaust fan) that exhausts air inside the exterior enclosure out thereof through an exhaust port (first light source exhaust port) provided in the exterior enclosure, and a functional device (wireless device) that provides a predetermined function and is heated to a temperature higher than the temperature of the exhaust air from the first exhaust fan. The wireless device is disposed in a position downstream of the first exhaust fan, and part of the exhaust air discharged from the first exhaust fan flows to the wireless device.

Projector

A projector includes an armor housing including an opening section through which an image is transmitted and a shutter device configured to open and close the opening section. The shutter device includes a blade member, a moving section configured to move the blade member, and movement regulating sections configured to regulate the movement of the blade member. The blade member includes first blades and second blades arranged to overlap each other and configured to move in the same direction each other to close and open the opening section. The second blades are moved in the same direction as the first blades by frictional resistance with the first blades. The movement regulating sections include second-blade regulating sections configured to come into contact with the second blades moved in the closing direction to predetermined positions and regulate further movement of the second blades in the closing direction.
