A coaxial cable connection module including a body; a first signal terminal including a first flat signal contact face; a first ground terminal including a first flat ground contact face; a second signal terminal including a second flat signal contact face; and a second ground terminal including a second flat ground contact face. A connector to be electrically connected to a connecting target including plural electrical objects and to a substrate provided with plural concave portions, includes plural contacts, each including a first terminal configured to extend in a first direction to be connected with the object of the connecting target and include a first contact portion and a second contact portion, a second terminal configured to extend in a second direction opposite to the first direction to be fitted in the concave portion of the substrate, and a base portion configured to be provided with a support portion that separately supports the first contact portion and the second contact portion of the first terminal at different positions and separately support the second terminal from the first terminal.

A portable communication equipment comprises a radio communication sections (), () for transmitting and receiving a CDMA signal, a base band modem section () for modulating a speech signal into a CDMA signal and demodulating a CDMA signal into a speech signal, and a CPU () for controlling the transmission and reception of a CDMA signal. When the equipment fails in capturing a selected channel and falls in a condition when a system was lost, the CPU () retries to capture the selected channel. The CPU (), when it fails in capturing the selected channel, selects another channel only when it tries to capture the selected channel for a predetermined number of times as well as it does not obtain an overhead message. With this arrangement, it is possible to capture an appropriate channel if an unsuitable channel is selected and the portable communication equipment falls into a condition when a system was lost.
