A sensor support portion supports a physical quantity sensor. A flow path housing portion forms a measurement flow path, which accommodates a support tip end portion of the sensor support portion. The sensor support portion includes a support front surface, which includes a front fixed portion away from the support tip end portion and fixed to an inner surface of the flow path housing portion. The physical quantity sensor includes a sensor exposure surface exposed from the support front surface. A separation distance between an end portion of the front fixed portion and an end portion of the sensor exposure surface is smaller than a separation distance between the end portion of the sensor exposure surface and the support tip end portion.

Physical quantity measurement device

A physical quantity measurement device includes a housing forming a measurement flow path through which the fluid flows and a container space that houses a part of a detection unit. An inner surface of the housing includes a housing intersecting surface that intersects an arrangement direction in which the measurement flow path and the container space are arranged, a housing flow path surface extending from the housing intersecting surface toward the measurement flow path, and a housing container surface extending from the housing intersecting surface toward the container space. The housing includes a housing partition that protrudes from the inner surface toward the detection unit and contacts the detection unit between the housing and the detection unit such that the housing partition separates the measurement flow path and the container space from each other.

A physical quantity measurement device measures a physical quantity of a fluid. A detection unit has a physical quantity detector that detects a physical quantity of the fluid in a measurement flow channel. A housing accommodates at least a part of the detection unit and forms the measurement flow channel. The housing includes a housing attachment that is attached to a predetermined attaching target, and a position holder holding a position of the detection unit by contacting the detection unit. The housing includes an inward part positioned inward of the attaching target and an outward part positioned outward of the attaching target. The position holder is provided inward of the housing attachment in an alignment direction along which the inward part and the outward part are aligned.

Quantity measurement device with detection unit contacting housing

A physical quantity measurement device includes a housing forming a measurement flow path in which a sensor support supports a physical quantity sensor. The measurement flow path includes a sensor path in which the physical quantity sensor is disposed, an upstream curved path between the sensor path and an inlet, and a downstream curved path between the sensor path and an outlet. The housing includes a measurement narrowed portion that gradually narrows the measurement flow path in a direction from the inlet toward the physical quantity sensor. An upstream end of the sensor support is provided upstream of the measurement narrowed portion in an arrangement cross section along an imaginary straight line passing through the physical quantity sensor and extending in an arrangement direction in which the upstream curved path and the downstream curved path are arranged.

Physical quantity measurement device for fluid with narrowed flow path

A physical quantity measurement device includes a housing forming a measurement flow path including a measurement inlet and a measurement outlet. The measurement flow path includes a sensor path in which a physical quantity sensor is disposed, an upstream curved path curved to extend from the sensor path toward the measurement inlet, and a downstream curved path curved to extend from the sensor path toward the measurement outlet. An inner surface of the housing includes an upstream outer curved surface that defines an outer outline of a curved part of the upstream curved path, and a downstream outer curved surface that defines an outer outline of a curve part of the downstream curved path. A degree of recess of the downstream outer curved surface is larger than a degree of recess of the upstream outer curved surface.

A physical quantity measurement device includes a housing forming a through flow path, and a measurement flow path branching from the through flow path. A physical quantity sensor is provided in the measurement flow path. An inner surface of the housing includes an inlet ceiling surface and an inlet floor surface which face each other and define an inlet through path that is between and connects an inlet of the through flow path and an inlet of the measurement flow path, The inlet ceiling surface includes a ceiling inclined surface that extends from the inlet of the through flow path and is inclined with respect to the inlet floor surface. A distance between the ceiling inclined surface and the inlet floor surface gradually decreases in a direction from the inlet of the through flow path toward an outlet of the through flow path.

A sensor assembly includes a sensor chip, a circuit board, and a wire holding case. The wire holding case holds a bonding wire, which connects the sensor chip with the circuit board. The wire holding case is inserted in an insertion hole of a case. The wire holding case has a low rigidity portion and a high rigidity portion in an X direction. The low rigidity portion has a space accommodating the bonding wire. The high rigidity portion has a reference surface in contact with an inner periphery of the insertion hole to position the wire holding case in a Y direction. The high rigidity portion has a surface on the opposite side of the reference surface in the Y direction. The surface is biased from a projection, which is formed on the inner periphery of the insertion hole, in the Y direction.

Airflow measuring device

An air flow measuring device includes a housing, a sensor, and a projection portion. The housing defines a bypass flow passage through which taken-in intake air passes and which has an outlet that opens into an intake passage toward a downstream side of a mainstream of intake air. The sensor is accommodated in the bypass flow passage to produce an electrical signal as a result of heat transfer between the taken-in intake air and the sensor. The projection portion is provided on an outer wall of the housing on a downstream side of the outlet in the mainstream and extends outward of the housing. A projection-portion projected region and an outlet projected region, which are formed respectively by projecting the projection portion and the outlet perpendicularly onto a projection plane that is perpendicular to a direction of the mainstream, overlap with each other.

Air flow measuring device

An air flow rate measuring device includes a housing, a sensor assembly, and an urging mechanism. The housing defines an internal flow passage, through which air taken in by the device passes, and the housing includes a contact surface. The sensor assembly includes a sensor chip and a contact surface. The sensor chip is configured to generate an electrical signal through a heat transfer phenomenon. The sensor assembly is inserted and fixed in the housing such that the sensor chip is exposed to the internal flow passage. The contact surface of the sensor assembly is in surface contact with the contact surface of the housing. The urging mechanism is configured to press the contact surface of the sensor assembly on the contact surface of the housing, so that the sensor assembly is fixed to the housing by the urging mechanism.

Air flow rate measuring device

A rotary supporting member supports a parallel member rotatably with respect to an upper beam. A first brace connects an opposite-end side of the parallel member with an opposite-end side of a lower beam. A second brace connects another opposite-end side of the parallel member with another opposite-end side of the lower beam. An intersection position of the first brace with the second brace is positioned more adjacent to a side of the upper beam than where an intermediate position between the upper beam and the lower beam is present. Damper members dispose respectively so as to be interposed between the parallel member and the upper beam, connecting the parallel member with the upper beam, and being disposed to make a pair at least on both sides each of which is separated away from the rotary supporting member to interpose the rotary supporting member therebetween.
