Provided is a terminal-attached electric wire including: an electric wire having a conductor made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy whose outer circumference is covered with an insulating layer; and a terminal member made of copper or a copper alloy and attached to a conductor-exposed portion exposed from the insulating layer at an end portion of the electric wire. The terminal member includes a coating layer made of an electrically conductive material and formed at a terminal-exposed portion except for a place of contact with the conductor in a surface of the terminal member, and an oxide film of the electrically conductive material formed in a surface of the coating layer. The electrically conductive material is a metal or an alloy which forms an oxide film having a thickness of more than or equal to 20 nm in a surface thereof.

Terminal-attached electric wire and wire harness

A heat-shrinkable tube fitting jig is used to fit a heat-shrinkable tube onto a terminal-attached electric wire formed by crimping a core wire crimp portion of a terminal onto a core wire of an electric wire. The heat-shrinkable tube fitting jig is provided with a first side abutting plate, a second side abutting plate member, and an electric wire holding portion. Columnar bodies and recessed surfaces, which constitute terminal positioning portions, are provided on the upper surface of the first side abutting plate. A first side end face and a second side end face of the heat-shrinkable tube are abutted against mutually opposing surfaces (a first side abutting surfaceS and a second side abutting surfaceS) of the first side abutting plate and the second side abutting plate.

Heat-shrinkable tube fitting jig and method for manufacturing electric wire with heat-shrinkable tube

A heat-shrinkable tube attachment jig includes a terminal holding portion that holds a plate-shaped counterpart connecting portion of a terminal, a placement portion on which a distal end portion of a heat-shrinkable tube that is located on the counterpart connecting portion side is placed, and a wire holding portion that holds a wire. The placement portion clamps the distal end portion of the heat-shrinkable tube between the placement portion and a bottom portion of the terminal on which the wire held by the terminal holding portion is arranged. A placement surface of the placement portion on which the distal end portion of the heat-shrinkable tube is placed is disposed at a higher position than a lower surface of the counterpart connecting portion of the terminal held by the terminal holding portion.

A terminal fixing jig includes a terminal insertion support portion that is open outward, the terminal insertion recess portion being formed in a shape that allows a plate-shaped counterpart connecting portion to be inserted thereinto through the opening, and a terminal fitting fixing portion that includes a fitting portion being able to fit in a hole formed in the counterpart connecting portion and a fitting portion support portion for supporting the fitting portion to enable advance and retraction of the fitting portion while biasing the fitting portion in an advancing direction, wherein the terminal fitting fixing portion is fixed to the terminal insertion support portion such that it can come into contact with the counterpart connecting portion to be advanced or retracted, and the fitting portion can be fitted into the hole of the counterpart connecting portion with the counterpart connecting portion inserted to a rear side of the terminal insertion recess portion.

Terminal fixing jig and method for manufacturing electric wire with heat-shrinkable tube

A terminal-equipped wire is provided with an insulated wire including a core and an insulation coating covering the periphery of the core, a terminal including a wire connecting portion connected to the insulated wire, a heat shrinkable tube configured to cover the periphery of the wire connecting portion while being shrunk by receiving heat, and a sheet-like intervening member provided between the heat shrinkable tube and the terminal.

Terminal-equipped wire

A terminal structure of a wiring harness for automobile use having a profound anticorrosive effect. A terminal member is fixed to a terminal portion of a coated electric wire such that a crimping portion that the member includes at its one end is crimped around a coating portion of the wire in a terminal region of the wire. A resin member completely covers at least entire outer surfaces of an exposed region at an end portion of the crimping portion and its vicinal region, and is made from a material mainly containing a thermoplastic polyamide resin, and having a tensile lap-shear strength of lapped aluminums of 6 N/mmor more in accordance with the JIS K6850, an elongation of 100% or more in accordance with the ASTM D-1708, and a water absorption of 1.0% or less in accordance with the JIS K7209.
