A magnetization method and a magnetization apparatus for forming an objective magnetized state in a one-dimensional region of a magnetic body, and a magnet for a magnetic encoder. In the magnetization method, magnetism in one direction is applied to an entire half wavelength interval of a sine wave on the magnetic body by a magnetizing yoke and a magnetized state of a first-order rectangle wave or of a first-order trapezoidal wave is formed in the interval, the magnetized state presenting polarity information in a rectangle or trapezoidal pulse shape; and thereafter, magnetism in opposite direction is applied to a start point and a terminal point of the interval by the same magnetizing yoke or a different magnetizing yoke one time or several times and the magnetized state of the first-order rectangle wave or of the first-order trapezoidal wave is changed into the objective magnetized state.

Magnetization method, magnetization apparatus and magnet for magnetic encoder

A sealing device configured to seal a gap on a flange portion side between an outer member and an inner member by being attached to the outer member. A circular plate portion of a metal ring has an extending portion extending opposite to a flange portion. A seal body has a projecting portion and a weir portion, the projecting portion being positioned inward in a diametrical direction from the extending portion and extending toward the flange portion, the weir portion being positioned outward in a diametrical direction from the extending portion and extending toward the flange portion. The projecting portion and the weir portion overlap the extending portion in a diametrical direction, the projecting portion and the weir portion being provided adjacent to the extending portion, thereby forming a labyrinth. The labyrinth has a plurality of labyrinth constituting portions folding back along inner and outer faces of the extending portion in a diametrical direction, and the labyrinth is configured to meander.

Sealing device

A sealing device formed to seal between a fixed side member and a rotating side member, comprising a slinger having a fitting cylindrical part fitted to the rotating side member and a flange part formed at one end part of the fitting cylindrical part positioned on the outer side of a sealed portion so as to be extended in the radial direction. A core comprises at least a fitting cylindrical part fitted to the fixed side member. The sealing device is characterized in that one end part of the fitting cylindrical part positioned on the outer side of the sealed portion is projected outward more than the sealed portion side inner surface position of the flange part of the slinger and a part of a seal lip part is formed to be brought into elastically slidable contact with the extended end face of the slinger.

A sealing device formed to seal between a fixed side member and a rotating side member, comprising a slinger having a fitting cylindrical part fitted to the rotating side member and a flange part formed at one end part of the fitting cylindrical part positioned on the outer side of a sealed portion so as to be extended in the radial direction. A core comprises at least a fitting cylindrical part fitted to the fixed side member. The sealing device is characterized in that one end part of the fitting cylindrical part positioned on the outer side of the sealed portion is positioned on the sealed portion side more than the sealed portion side inner surface position of the flange part of the slinger and a part of a seal lip part is formed to be projected from near one end part of the fitting cylindrical part of the core and to be brought into elastically slidable contact with the extended end face of the slinger.

A sealing device with a tone wheel formed to seal between a fixed side member and a rotating side member. A slinger comprises a fitting cylindrical part fitted to the rotating side member and a flanged part radially extendedly formed at one end part of the fitting cylindrical part positioned on the outer side of a sealed portion. The outer surface of the flanged part positioned on the outer side of the sealed portion comprises a tone wheel stuck surface on which the tone wheel formed of a magnetic ring is stuck integrally with each other and an extended surface on which the tone wheel is not stuck and extended to the fixed side member. The sealing device is characterized in that a core comprises at least a fitting cylindrical part fitted to the fixed side member, the one end part of the fitting cylindrical part positioned on the outer side of the sealed portion is projected from the outer surface of the flanged part of the slinger to the outside, a part of the seal lip part is formed to be brought into elastically slidable contact with the extended surface of the slinger from the outside, and the flanged part is held by the seal lip part and the other seal lip part from the inside and the outside.

Sealing device with tone wheel

A magnetizing method for tone wheel and apparatus, wherein the method comprises the steps of preparing a ring reinforcement made of magnetic material and attached to an annular body to be magnetized, the ring reinforcement comprising a tubular part and an other part integrally formed with the tubular part; holding the tubular part of the ring reinforcement with a fixture such as a jaw type chuck made of non-magnetic material; and apply an alternate magnetic flux to the annular body while axially rotating the fixing means, keeping one end of a magnetizing yoke approximate to the surface of the annular body, the alternate magnetic flux forming a circular closed loop which passes the one end of the magnetizing yoke and the other end of the magnetizing yoke, via the annular body and the ring reinforcement midway, thereby magnetizing the annular body in a manner that S poles and N poles are alternately formed along its periphery.
