A production managing method for production of motion picture photo film is provided. At first, film web is slitted to produce continuous photo film having a predetermined width. Production managing information is written to an RFID (radio frequency identification) tag, and includes a roll number and slitting number, which are related to the film web and the continuous photo film. The continuous photo film is cut to produce motion picture photo film. The production managing information is stored in association with the motion picture photo film. The motion picture photo film is checked. If the motion picture photo film has a defect, the production managing information may be referred to for detecting a portion of the film web or the continuous photo film from which the defect derives. Other motion picture photo films with a defect will be traced.

Production managing method for photo film production

A printing method for an ink jet printer to print first density information and second dot density information, including arranging a plurality of print heads including two or more first print heads to have a first angular orientation for printing the first information, and at least a second print head to have a second angular orientation, different from the first angular orientation for printing the second information; printing the first information by the first print heads to obtain the first dot density; and printing the second information by the second print head to obtain the second dot density.

Supervisory computers are individually disposed in a molding line for molding a pair of shell halves, a cartridge assembly line for assembling a cartridge shell from the pair of shell halves and other parts, a winding line for producing and winding each individual filmstrip into each individual cartridge shell, a packaging line for packaging the photo film cartridges, and those of other lines or other processes. Each supervisory computer controls process controllers of the associated line. The supervisory computers are controlled by a production information supervisory computer. Data obtained from the process controllers is sent through the line supervisory computers to the production information supervisory computer, to be stored therein.

Method of managing information exchanged between production information

A perforator has a rotary drum. A plurality of die sets are arranged at regular intervals around a peripheral surface of the drum and circulates along with the peripheral surface. Each of the die sets has a pair of die and punch. The die is secured to a die holder which is mounted to the peripheral surface, and the punch is secured to a punch holder which is linearly movable in a direction perpendicular to the peripheral surface between a punch position where the punch is fitted in the die and a retracted position where the punch is retracted away from the die. The sheet material is brought into contact with the peripheral surface within a predetermined range, and conveyed on the peripheral surface in the same direction at the same speed as the die sets. An annular punch drive cam disposed surrounding the peripheral surface drives the punch holder to move between the punch position and the retracted position. The punch or the sheet material is shifted into a relief position where the punch cannot interfere with the sheet material beyond the predetermined contact range of the sheet material with the peripheral surface.

Method and apparatus for making perforations continuously

A photo film has a pair of edge portions (11, 12) extended in a longitudinal direction. Plural image frames (48) are photographable between the edge portions. Plural bodies of photo film information (21, 22) are recorded in at least one of the edge portions photographically in a predetermined arranging pattern (13, 14) in form of latent images. The photo film has a discriminating code (15, 29) associated with the arranging pattern (13, 14) and recorded photographically in a predetermined position.
