In a crawler construction machine including an engine and a fuel adjustment dial that adjusts a speed of the engine according to operation loads of the working equipment, the fuel adjustment dial is a rotary notchless dial that is continuously variably adjustable. The crawler construction machine includes: an adjustment position detector that detects a rotation adjustment position of the fuel adjustment dial; an engine controller that is connected to the adjustment position detector and controls the speed of the engine based on an adjustment position of the fuel adjustment dial; and a display device that is connected to the engine controller and displays on a screen a percentage value of the adjustment position of the fuel adjustment dial in which the maximum rotation position of the fuel adjustment dial is defined as 100%.

A work machine with an engine control device is provided, which is capable of ensuring fine controllability and providing further improved fine controllability with a simple construction. To this end, the work machine includes: an engine control device for controlling the output of an engine in accordance with each of a plurality of operation modes which are set according to the contents of operations; and operation mode selector switches for selecting any one of the plurality of operation modes. A controller receives a control signal representative of a travel control lever stroke sensed by a position sensor and a control signal detected by a pressure sensor, determines if the vehicle is traveling up a slope, and transmits a command signal to a solenoid operated valve to move a pilot operated shut off valve toward a valve-closing position, thereby the travel hydraulic motors are individually supplied the pressurized fluid from the hydraulic pumps.

A method for feeding a solid-liquid mixture comprised of a liquid and a solid having a specific gravity greater than that of the liquid comprising depositing the solid component around a feed opening disposed at the bottom of a mixing container and feeding the solid-liquid mixture to a container for packing the same through the opening is provided and the method can effectively be carried out utilizing an apparatus comprising a mixing container, a feed opening disposed at the bottom of the mixing container, a feed controlling device disposed below or within the feed opening and characterized in that it comprises a collecting device for depositing the solid component of the mixture around the feed opening. The present invention makes it possible to feed the solid-liquid mixture in a desired constant mixing ratio since the ratio can easily be controlled by simply depositing solid component around the feed opening and changing the cross-section of the flow path at any position from the feed opening to the chute member.
