Further, the magnetizing head is mounted on the push punch in such a manner that the magnetizing portion of the magnetizing head projects toward the rubber magnet beyond the punching portion of the push punch, and the magnetizing portion of the magnetizing head can be brought into close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the rubber magnet in the minimum diameter portion of the die guide.

The device stand has a motor mounting section which is embossed so that the spindle motor is mounted on the motor mounting section. The process includes at least the following three steps: the first step for providing sizing bar in hole in bearing into which the rotating shaft is to be inserted; the second step for working an end portion of the bearing, thereby forming in an end portion of the hole a small-diameter portion that is equal in size to the outside diameter of the sizing bar; and the third step for securing the bearing to the mounting member.

An object of this invention is to provide a disk driving device which is small in the number of components, simple in structure, and low in manufacturing cost, and which can be miniaturized. In a disk driving device, a spindle motor and a head carriage section are provided in a disk cassette loading area, and the guide mechanism of the head carriage section is provided beside the spindle motor. The object of the invention has been achieved by arranging the spindle motor and the head carriage section collectively in the disk cassette loading area. Preferably, the spindle motor and the head carriage section are arranged on one and the same circuit board.
