The laser distance measuring device includes: a laser light emission unit for emitting laser light; a scanning mechanism for scanning the laser light by changing an output angle thereof; a light receiving unit for receiving reflected light of the laser light from an object, to thereby output a light reception signal; a light-detector control circuit for causing the light receiving unit to output the reception signal after setting a light receiving sensitivity for the reflected light at the time when the output angle is small, higher than a light receiving sensitivity for the reflected light at the time when the output angle is large; and a distance calculation unit for calculating, based on the reception signal, a distance to the object. This enhances the distance measuring capability in both cases of measuring a short distance and a long distance.

An infrared camera includes a lens unit including a lens and a lens barrel, a heater that is provided at the lens unit and heats the lens, an infrared image sensor that captures an image using infrared light focused by the lens, a chassis that is fixed to an external surface side of the lens barrel while being thermally insulated from the lens unit and contains the infrared image sensor, and a light-blocking member that is located between the lens barrel and the infrared image sensor inside the chassis as viewed in a direction of an optical axis of the lens and blocks infrared light radiated toward the infrared image sensor and coming without passing through the lens, thus reducing the influence of infrared light coming without passing through the lens on capturing of an image.

Temperature measuring device

A flow rate measuring device includes: a bypass passage; a flow rate detecting element; and a flow rate measuring circuit. The bypass passage includes: an inflow port; an outflow port; and a plurality of bent portions. The plurality of bent portions include first to third bent portions for forming U-shapes, and a fourth bent portion for bending the bypass passage bent at the third bent portion so as to be parallel to a mainstream flowing direction. The flow rate detecting element is arranged inside the bypass passage in a part after bending at the fourth bent portion. A route connecting the inflow port and the flow rate detecting element as a straight line is blocked by an inner wall surface of the bypass passage on an outer peripheral side, which is formed between the first bent portion and the second bent portion.

The invention provides a magnetic object motion sensor which can operate with high accuracy not only when a magnetic object moves at high speeds but also even when it moves at low speeds, which can be produced with a greater production tolerance and a greater dimensional tolerance. The magnetic object motion sensor includes: magnetoelectric transducer elements disposed opposite protrusions of a moving magnetic object; a magnet for generating bias magnetic flux toward the magnetoelectric transducer elements; unbalanced bias producing means for producing imbalance in the magnetic field sensitivity between the magnetoelectric transducer elements; a differential amplifier for amplifying in a differential fashion the electric signals output by the magnetoelectric transducer elements; a waveform shaping circuit for converting the differential signal output by the differential amplifier to a pulse signal corresponding to the edges of the magnetic material protrusion; the unbalanced bias producing means producing a difference in the amplitude of the magnetic flux density between that applied to one element of the pair of magnetoelectric transducer elements and that applied to the other element so that the difference in the electric signal level corresponding to the difference in the amplitude of the magnetic flux density becomes greater than the hysteresis of the waveform shaping circuit, thereby, in effect, introducing imbalance in the sensitivity between the magnetoelectric transducer elements.
