An air-conditioning register includes a retainer, a downstream fin, a knob, an upstream fin, and a fork. The downstream fin is swingably supported by the retainer with a downstream fin pivot. The knob is slidably attached to the downstream fin. The upstream fin has a transmission shaft. The fork is pivotally supported by the knob and includes two fork pivots. The knob includes two pivot receiving portions each having a pivot receiving hole. Each fork pivot is inserted into the pivot receiving hole of the corresponding one of the pivot receiving portions. An overlapping portion is provided at least at part of a location at which the fork and each pivot receiving portion contact each other. Slits are provided at two locations between the two fork pivots of the fork. A region between each slit and the nearest fork pivot constitutes an elastic support portion.

Air-conditioning register

An interior component has a projecting portion projecting rearward at a position forward and downward from a vehicle occupant when the occupant maintains a sitting posture in a passenger compartment. The interior component has a front inclined surface section and a rear inclined surface section in a lower section of the projecting portion. A retainer and air-direction changing members arranged in the retainer are arranged immediately below the projecting portion at positions forward from the front inclined surface section. A manipulating member is arranged above the rear inclined surface section with at least a part of the manipulating member exposed rearward from the projecting portion. A first transmission mechanism and a second transmission mechanism, which transmit movement of the manipulating member to the air-direction changing members, are arranged in the interior component.

A damper opening and closing device includes an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder that is disposed inside the outer cylinder, is supported movably relative to the outer cylinder and has a fluid passage therein, and a damper group that includes a plurality of dampers disposed in the fluid passage so that the fluid passage is openable and closable. The plurality of dampers are arranged in a circumferential direction of the fluid passage and disposed in the fluid passage in such a way that inner peripheral edges of the dampers are opposed to each other. The damper opening and closing device further includes an angle control unit configured to control the tilt angle of the damper in conjunction with movement of the inner cylinder relative to the outer cylinder.

Damper opening and closing device

A shut-off damper of an air-conditioning register has a damper body serving as a frame portion and a sealing portion softer than the damper body. The sealing portion includes a distal sealing portion caused to contact an inner wall surface of a retainer at a closed position and a flexible joint portion joining the distal sealing portion and the damper body together. The distal sealing portion has a cross section configured by a projected curved portion and contacts the inner wall surface of the retainer at the curved portion. At least a part of the joint portion has an increased thickness portion having a thickness increasing toward the damper body.

In this case, a laser oscillation occurs for emitted light in the polarization direction that shows the greater transmissivity, and it is therefore possible to obtain laser beams having a stabilized polarization direction.

Passive Q switch laser device

The present passively Q-switched laser comprises a condensing optical system for condensing a laser beam emitted from a laser light source onto the surface of the solid-state laser medium. The surface of a solid-state laser medium is disposed off the condensation position of the laser beam produced by the condensing optical system.
