A small antenna device having good communications performance and a wide communications area even when a metal plate is present in the antenna communications direction, even when the antenna is arranged, for example, inside a box-shaped metal case, and even when a through hole is used that has a smaller area than the antenna. This device comprises: the antenna; a rear surface cover overlapping with the antenna and being a conductor that faces the winding of the antenna; two first insulating areas provided in the rear surface cover and extending in a direction that intersects the winding axis of the antenna; and a second insulating area that connects between the first insulating areas. At least part of the area sandwiched by the first insulating areas faces the antenna.

Antenna device and communications device

A toroidal pressure vessel having extremely high pressure resistance has laminated latitudinal reinforcing fiber layers to improve a strength in a latitudinal direction of the pressure vessel. Moreover, putting reinforcing fibers constituting those laminated latitudinal reinforcing fiber layers in continuity enables further improvement of strength in the latitudinal direction of the pressure vessel, for example compared with a case where the reinforcing fibers are divided for each layer.

Pressure vessel and method of manufacturing the same

An apparatus for encrypted communication in which transmission data is encrypted based upon a cipher key and is transmitted. The received encrypted data is decrypted based upon a cipher key. A cipher key checker checks for agreement of the cipher keys by decoding the decrypted received data. The cipher key checker decodes the decrypted data in a unit of a preselected number of lines and determines whether the data are properly decoded or not.

Apparatus for encrypted communication

A programmable controller includes a pipeline stage having a first stage IF for executing instruction fetching operations, a second stage ID/RF for decoding the instruction and for fetching data from a general-purpose register, a third stage EX for executing arithmetic and logic operations, data address calculations, or calculation of the effective address of a target branch, a fourth stage MEM for accessing to data memory, and a fifth stage WB/BPU for executing bit operations, writing operations with respect to the general-purpose register, or branching operations, are executed in a pipelined manner. Simplification of hardware and control, and facilitation of formation of a pipeline into multiple stages are realized as a result of a pipeline structure being formed into a unified instruction structure.

Programmable controller

A facsimile machine with a plurality of cassettes which is capable of printing a transmission report including first data and second data on a printing sheet accommodated in the cassette where the first data being a result of the transmission and the second data being an image data of a transmitted data, said facsimile machine includes: a memory unit for storing the first data and the second data therein to be read out; an editing unit for reading out the first data and the second data from the memory unit and formulating a resultant data; a sheet size set unit for detecting and setting a size of printing sheet on which the resultant data is to be printed; a divider unit for dividing the resultant data into a plurality of block data according to the size set by the sheet size set unit; a judgment unit for judging whether the block data corresponding to the last page of report is solely the second data; and a print control unit for inhibiting printing of the second data on the last page of report when it is judged that the block data corresponding to the last page of report is solely the second data by the judgment unit.

Facsimile machine with combined transmission data and transmitted image

Image data generated by a reading section to perform copying is outputted to a recording section and, when a facsimile communication is received during such copying, received image data is temporarily stored in an image memory. Meanwhile, an amount of the received image data stored in the image memory is monitored so that, when free capacity of the image memory becomes less than a permitted level, copying is interrupted and operation for copying is switched to operation for outputting the received image data in the image memory through the recording section. Thus, a certain amount of capacity is always available in the image memory and vicarious reception errors due to a memory overflow during copying is eliminated. When the received image data in the image memory has been printed out by the recording section to such an extent that the free capacity in the image memory becomes sufficient again, the interrupted copying is restarted. Thus, copying can be performed without unnecessary delay.

Image output device for copying receiving facsimiles and transmitting

A multi-CPU programmable controller which operates to access one of a plurality of I/O interface units through a common I/O bus for controlling one of a plurality of equipments each connected to each associated one of the I/O interface units. The programmable controller includes a pair of controllers, each of the pair including an individual CPU for generating an access signal for selectively accessing one of said I/O interface units through the common I/O bus for control thereof within one bus cycle. Each of the pair of controllers operates in accordance with a specific program independently from each other. The programmable controller further includes a base board for mounting controllers together with the common I/O bus as well as the I/O interface units: bus arbitrating device, provided on the base board, for generating a single sampling clock. The bus arbitrating device supervises the access signals from the pair of controller means such that the bus arbitrating device determines, when the two access signals from the controllers are respectively detected at the same timing within the one bus cycle, whether to provide priority to one of the pair of controllers over the other in accordance with a predetermined priority and to assume that one of the pair of controllers as a prior controller and the other one as a posterior controller.
