The present invention relates to an optical reader for scanning a surface to be scanned by using information beam ray such as laser beam ray and optically reading a recorded information such as bar code recorded in the surface to be scanned. The optical reader is constituted such that optical beam emitted from a light source is reflected on a first rotary multiface mirror to scan on a surface to be scanned, and information beam reflected on the surface to be scanned is reflected on a second rotary multiface mirror to guide to an opto-electric transforming means. A scanning optical path for permitting the optical beam from the light source to pass therealong is formed independently from a reflecting optical path for permitting the information beam from the surface to be scanned to pass therealong. A condensing lens system including a bore diameter large enough to cover the scanning optical path and reflecting optical path as well as a single optical axis is disposed between the surface to be scanned and the first and second rotary multiface mirrors.

A coil winding machine for winding a coil on a cylindrical core having peripheral slots such as the rotor core of an electric motor, particularly suitable for use in the coil winding on a core having small intersecting angle of a pair of the peripheral slots for receiving wires of the same coil. To the lower end of a rotary shaft having the flyer, attached are a former rotatable relatively to the rotary shaft and provided with a guide portion opposing to the end surface of the core, and a pair of winding frames positioned between the end surface of the core and the guide portion of the former. A pair of bending means are disposed to oppose to each other with the winding frames interposed therebetween. The bending means are movable toward and away from said winding frames and also in the up and down directions.

Coil winding machine

In a machine for winding and inserting coils of the type wherein a flier is rotated so as to wind the conductor drawn from the flier around two blades of an insertion tooling and an auxiliary plate located radially outwardly of said two blades and spaced apart therefrom by a predetermined distance, thereby forming a coil which is directly inserted together with a wedge into slots of a magnetic core of a rotary electric machine, an improvement wherein the blades with wedge guides which form the insertion tooling are divided into alternating main and auxiliary blades equiangularly spaced apart from each other, the auxiliary blades being axially movable relative to said main blades in such a way that when the conductor is wound around a bobbin formed by two of the main blades and an auxiliary plate, the auxiliary blades are retracted away from the main blades, but when the wound coils are inserted into the slots of the magnetic core, the auxiliary blades are raised to align with the main blades, thus forming the insertion tooling. In addition, all the coils for one phase may be continuously wound so as to have only one starting lead and one finishing lead.
