A fluid machine includes a thrust bearing support supporting a dynamic thrust bearing that includes a first dynamic thrust bearing and a second dynamic thrust bearing and including a first bearing base and a second bearing base fixed to each other via a spacer member. The fluid machine includes a main passage through which fluid flows from a motor chamber toward an operation chamber, and a space between an inner side of the spacer member and an outer side of the first dynamic thrust bearing and the second dynamic thrust bearing in a radial direction of a rotary shaft. The space communicates with a first through hole of the first bearing base communicating with the motor chamber and a second through hole of the second bearing base communicating with the main passage. The thrust bearing support includes a connecting passage interconnecting the space and the main passage.

Fluid machine

An electric turbo compressor including a housing, an electric motor, and a rotating body driven to rotate by the electric motor. The rotating body includes a rotary shaft, a first impeller, and a second impeller. The first impeller includes a first hub fixed to the rotary shaft, and a plurality of first blades arranged on the first hub, and the second impeller includes a second hub fixed to the rotary shaft, and a plurality of second blades arranged on the second hub. In the rotating body, mass of part of the rotating body from one ends to the other ends of the first blades along the axial direction is greater than mass of part of the rotating body from one ends to the other ends of the second blades along the axial direction.

Electric turbo compressor

A turbo fluid machine includes: a housing including an impeller chamber and a motor chamber accommodating an electric motor; an impeller that is accommodated in the impeller chamber and compresses fluid by the electric motor; a drive shaft extending in an axial direction of the drive shaft to connect the impeller and the electric motor; and a gasket sealing between the impeller chamber and an outside of the housing. The housing includes a first housing and a second housing that form the impeller chamber. The first housing and the second housing are arranged in the axial direction. The gasket is disposed between the first housing and the second housing in the axial direction. The first housing and the second housing are in contact with each other in the axial direction on at least one of an outer circumferential side and an inner circumferential side of the gasket.

Turbo fluid machine

A fluid machine includes a rotary shaft, an operation body configured to discharge fluid by rotation of the rotary shaft, a housing accommodating the rotary shaft and the operation body, and a foil bearing disposed in the housing rotatably supporting the rotary shaft. The foil bearing includes a cylindrical bearing housing, a top foil between the bearing housing and the rotary shaft, and a bump foil between the bearing housing and the top foil and elastically supporting the top foil. The bearing housing has a protrusion protruding inwardly in a radial direction from the bearing housing. The protrusion includes an abutment surface configured to restrict deformation of the bump foil to an elastic range not to reach a plastic range by abutting against the top foil or the bump foil when the top foil is displaced outwardly in the radial direction of the bearing housing.

Fluid machine having a foil bearing arrangement

There is provided a port closing device for a compressor which is fixed to a housing of the compressor by a bolt and includes a packing and a cap. The packing closes a suction port or a discharge port formed in the housing. The packing has a first end, a second end and a peripheral surface formed between the first end and the second end. The first end of the packing has a flat seal portion that is in contact with a surface of the housing surrounding the port. The cap has a holding portion that presses the peripheral surface of the packing for holding the packing, and a pressing portion that presses the second end of the packing. The pressing portion of the cap has therethrough a hole.

Port closing device for compressor

In a multiple redundant control system each of the control systems detects whether failures occur in the system itself and the other systems, and outputs a control signal corresponding to an amount of control of a controlled object by the control system on the basis of the result of failure detection. In the multiple redundant control system at least one controlled object is driven or controlled by a controller having a plurality of control systems that are connected to each other and each output information regarding the system itself and received input of information regarding other systems. Based on control signals, a main control signal for driving or controlling the controlled object is generated by a main control signal generator.

An actuation system includes a pump assembly configured to form a pump chamber, an actuator having first and second chambers and a movable member and configured to convert pressures applied to the first and second chambers into a movement of the movable member, and a valve section. The valve section has a plurality of positions set by a controller, and the plurality of positions includes a first position in which the valve section opens the first flow path and closes the second flow path, a second position in which the valve section closes the first flow path and opens the second flow path, and a neutral position in which the valve section closes the first and second flow paths.

Actuation system, helicopter using the same, and controlling method therefor

A double redundancy electro hydrostatic actuator system includes two hydraulic pumps; two fail safe valves connected with the two hydraulic pumps, respectively; one dual tandem hydraulic cylinder connected with the two fail safe valves and having a piston rod, wherein the piston rod is moved by switching supply and discharge of the fluid; two switching valves connected with the two fail safe valves; two accumulators connected with the two switching valves and the two hydraulic pumps, respectively; and two chambers connected with the two switching valves, respectively. Each of the two accumulators accumulates the fluid from a corresponding one of the two hydraulic pumps, and sends the fluid to a corresponding one of the two fail safe valves. The two chambers receive the fluid from the two fail safe valves, respectively.

Double redundancy electro hydrostatic actuator system

A fluid pressure actuator includes an output cylinder, a fluid pressure pump, an electric motor, a first output cylinder passage, a second output cylinder passage, a return passage and a swash plate control cylinder. The output cylinder includes a first output cylinder chamber, a second output cylinder chamber and an output piston arranged between the first output cylinder chamber and the second output cylinder chamber. The fluid pressure pump includes a first supply and discharge port, a second supply and discharge port and a swash plate for changing displacement of the fluid pressure pump. The electric motor drives the fluid pressure pump. The first output cylinder passage connects the first output cylinder chamber and the first supply and discharge port. The second output cylinder passage connects the second output cylinder chamber and the second supply and discharge port.

Electro hydrostatic actuator with swash plate pump

A variable speed power transmission apparatus having an epicycle reduction gear device that has planetary gears whose shafts are supported at equal intervals circumferentially thereof by carriers fixed to an output shaft thereof. The planetary gears are meshed between external teeth of a sun gear fixed to an input shaft connected to a drive source and internal teeth of a ring gear. The transmission apparatus also includes a variable speed hydraulic driver system that is driven by oil pressure generated by the drive source in such a way as to be variably and reversibly rotated by the oil pressure. An output shaft of the variable speed oil pressure driver system is connected to the ring gear in an interlocking relation to thereby cause forward rotation, reverse rotation or stoppage of the ring gear by the variable speed hydraulic driver system. Thus, the speed of the ring gear can be changed in a non-step manner. Since the invention has been constructed as mentioned above, the invention makes it possible to obtain a variable speed power transmission apparatus which enables highly efficient non-step change in the rotation speed thereof over a wide range without increased size and cost of the apparatus.
