An evaporative fuel control system is provided which includes a canister, and a fill-up control valve disposed in a vent line that communicates a fuel tank with the canister for controlling fill-up of the fuel tank. The fill-up control valve includes a casing, a float disposed in a space formed in the casing such that the float is movable up or down in the space, and a valve body provided in an upper portion of the float. In the evaporative fuel control system, the fill-up control valve is located outside and above the fuel tank, and a head difference is provided between a full level of the fuel tank and the fill-up control valve.

Evaporative fuel control system

In a structure for joining a first plastic part and a second plastic part, the first plastic part is composed of at least one resin such as polyamide (PA), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyacetal (POM), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), while the second plastic part is composed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Between the two parts, a metamorphic polyethylene layer exhibiting a good joining property for both the first and second plastic parts is interposed to join the parts.

In the fuel evaporative emission controller, mounting of the piping is simplified, and the amount of piping such as rubber hoses is minimized, reducing the cost and the fuel permeation. The fuel evaporative emission controller includes a valve structure integrating a fuel-level sensing valve and a fuel cut valve. It further includes a vent line and an evaporate line both provided in the valve structure. In the fuel evaporative emission controller having the vent line connected to the canister, the valve structure has an opening for communicating the vent line and evaporate line with each other.

Fuel evaporative emission controller

A fuel vapor control apparatus halts deterioration in operating characteristics of a fuel control valve at the time of fuel supply and prevents fuel vapor from being discharged into the atmosphere through a filler pipe. The fuel vapor control apparatus prohibits fuel vapor from flowing toward a filler pipe by closing a fuel drop passage at the time of fuel supply. A fuel vapor control valve is configured as a diaphragm valve made of a flexible material, and a diaphragm holder moving integrally with the diaphragm valve is provided at the center thereof. Furthermore, the fuel drop passage as a communication hole is formed in the diaphragm portion at a location radially outward of the diaphragm holder, which is provided with an umbrella portion for opening and closing the fuel drop passage.
