An in-vehicle use control system includes: a state management part which acquires the information on an operational state of the system; a memory storage part which memorizes the information on the operational state of the system, which is acquired by the state management part; a control part which has a plurality of control functions; a list management part which holds lists in which the correspondence relation between the control function of the control part and the normal operating state of the control function is defined; and a monitoring part which chooses the list held in the list management part, based on the operational state which is memorized in the memory storage part, compares the normal operating state of a control function which is defined in the list, and an execution state of the control part, and monitors whether the operation of the control function is normal or not.

In-vehicle use control system

An intrusion detection system comprises: a monitor listing for setting a rule(s) on which determination is performed whether communications data is normal or abnormal in every one of respective states; an intrusion detection unit for acquiring communications data flowing through a communications line(s), and for performing, by comparing the communications data with the monitor listing, determination on the presence or absence of abnormality in the communications data; a state management unit for acquiring a state of a host motor vehicle and/or that of a control device, and for changing over the monitor listing for use in the intrusion detection unit; and a processing time management unit for giving rise to increasing a processing time(s) of the intrusion detection unit in accordance with processing content of the intrusion detection unit.

Intrusion detection system

Provided is an inspection system capable of inspecting whether or not a control device mounted to a vehicle normally operates also during usage. An inspection information generation unit of a server generates security inspection information for use in inspection of a function of an ECU on the basis of ECU design information and security information, and the security inspection information is transmitted to an ECU_GW. In the ECU_GW having received the security inspection information, an ECU_GW control unit performs a conversion process, and transmits information obtained by the conversion process to an ECU_A and an ECU_B. When receiving the information, each of the ECU_A and the ECU_B determines, with use of a determination reference held in advance, whether the received information is normal or abnormal.

Inspection system

A first processing environment includes: a control processing unit configured to execute control processing on a control subject; a first storage area for storing data for controlling the control subject; and a verification determination unit. A second processing environment includes: a second storage area for storing an expected value; a verification value generation unit; and a verification execution unit. The verification value generation unit generates the verification value before the control processing is stopped. The verification execution unit executes comparison processing of comparing the expected value and the verification value before the control processing is activated. When the comparison result indicates a verification success, the verification determination unit executes determination processing of determining that the control processing is to be activated, and executes determination processing of determining that activation of the control processing is to be stopped when the comparison result indicates a verification failure.

Control device and control method

A first control device includes a data processing controller that generates and transfers information indicating a current operating condition of the first control device and information indicating a current operating condition of a vehicle, and transfers a most recent version of a security program, to which the program is to be updated, to a second control device, while the second control device, having received the most recent version of the security program from the first control device, specifies the current operating condition of the vehicle on the basis of the information obtained from the first control device, and when the specified current operating condition matches a vehicle operating condition in which processing for updating the program to the most recent version of the security program is possible, executes processing for updating the program to the most recent version of the security program.

Program update control system and program update control method

Before a communication control device ECU falls into a sleep state or a power-off state, a substitution request is transmitted to an ECU, among substitute candidate devices ECU to ECU, that is determined by a substitute transmission acceptability determining unit as being capable of taking over the communication control device. A substitution-capable processing load quantity, a substitution-capable process importance level, or a failure determination result of each of the ECUs is used as determination criteria when the substitute transmission acceptability determining unit of the ECU determines a substitute device, and the determination is carried out in an order that takes into consideration the process importance level of each of the ECUs during travelling or at a standstill, to prevent failures in a network or abnormal behaviors of a vehicle.

Control device switching system

A conducting portion includes a plurality of conducting inner electrodes. Each of a pair of capacitance portions includes a plurality of signal inner electrodes while adjacently opposing each other in the laminating direction, a plurality of first grounding inner electrodes while adjacently opposing each other in the laminating direction, and a plurality of second grounding inner electrodes while adjacently opposing each other in the laminating direction. The plurality of first grounding inner electrodes are located between the conducting portion and the plurality of signal inner electrodes, while one of the first grounding inner electrodes adjacently opposes one of the first signal inner electrodes in the laminating direction. The plurality of second grounding inner electrodes are located between principal faces opposing each other in the laminating direction in the outer surface and the plurality of signal inner electrodes.

Feedthrough multilayer capacitor

An element body has a major capacitance forming portion to form a first capacitance, and a minor capacitance forming portion to form a plurality of second capacitances smaller than the first capacitance. The major capacitance forming portion includes a first internal electrode connected to a first terminal electrode, and a second internal electrode opposed to the first internal electrode and connected to a second terminal electrode. The minor capacitance forming portion includes a third internal electrode connected to the first terminal electrode, a fourth internal electrode arranged as separated from the third internal electrode in an identical layer and connected to the second terminal electrode, a fifth internal electrode opposed to the third and fourth internal electrodes and connected to the first terminal electrode, and a sixth internal electrode opposed to the third and fourth internal electrodes and opposed to the fifth internal electrode through a region between the third and fourth internal electrodes, and connected to the second terminal electrode.

Multilayer capacitor

A multilayer capacitor has a first inner electrode connected to a first terminal electrode, a second inner electrode connected to a second terminal electrode, and third and fourth inner electrodes connected to third and fourth terminal electrodes. The first and second inner electrodes have no overlapping area therebetween when seen in the opposing direction of the first and second main faces and are arranged at respective positions different from each other in the opposing direction of the first and second main faces and in the opposing direction of the first and second side faces. The third and fourth inner electrodes have no overlapping area therebetween when seen in the opposing direction of the first and second main faces and are arranged at respective positions different from each other in the opposing direction of the first and second main faces and in the opposing direction of the first and second side faces. The first and third inner electrodes have an overlapping area therebetween when seen in the opposing direction of the first and second main faces. The second and fourth inner electrodes have an overlapping area therebetween when seen in the opposing direction of the first and second main faces.

Electrode layerstoare superimposed in a ceramic porcelainwith ceramic layers therebetween. The electrode layerstorespectively include internal electrodes Ato Aand extraction electrodes Bto B. Giving a description on the electrode layer, one end of the extraction electrode Bis connected with the internal electrode Ain the same layer, and the other end of the same is led onto a side surface of the ceramic porcelain. Further, the extraction electrode Bis formed to be thicker than the internal electrode Ain the same layer.

Multi-terminal type laminated capacitor

A laminated ceramic capacitor includes a body having an inner layer portion and an outer layer portion and a plurality of terminal electrodes spaced apart from each other in a length direction of the body. The inner layer portion has a plurality of internal electrodes stacked in a height direction of the body. The internal electrodes have led-out portions led out to a side face of the body. The outer layer portion is disposed on one of opposite faces of the inner layer portion in the height direction. Each terminal electrode extends along the height direction to cover corresponding one of the led-out portions and is provided with an intermediate portion and an end portion. The intermediate portion has a larger electrode width than the led-out portion. The end portion has a smaller electrode width at an edge of the side face than the intermediate portion.

Laminated ceramic capacitor

A radio wave absorbent comprises an Ni--Cu--Zn base ferrite having a major composition comprising 49 to less than 50 mol % of Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, 32 to 35 mol % of ZnO, 3 to 9 mol % of CuO and 9 to 14 mol % of NiO. The radio wave absorbent further contains an additive molybdenum oxide in an amount of greater than 0 to 0.10 wt %, calculated as MoO.sub.3, with the proviso that the total amount of the major composition is 100 wt %. The radio wave absorbent may be used as an exterior or interior material for a building or structure.
