A case opening recording apparatus which, in a mechanical apparatus having a circuit board provided with an electric circuit, and a case capable of housing the circuit board, records whether or not the case is removed from the circuit board, and the case opening recording apparatus includes: a current path provided in the case; an auxiliary power supply provided in either the circuit board or the case and different from a main drive power supply of the mechanical apparatus; a state holding unit in which a state signal to be held is switched when received voltage changes; and a connection unit configured to electrically connect the auxiliary power supply to the state holding unit via the current path when the circuit board is housed in the case, and electrically disconnect the auxiliary power supply from the state holding unit when the circuit board is not housed in the case.

A numerical control apparatus for controlling a machine tool, includes: a first control unit for controlling the machine tool for machining; an image display device for displaying at least the status of the machine tool and the first control unit; a second control unit for controlling the image display device; a first light-emitting portion; and a second light-emitting portion, is constructed such that when an anomaly occurs in the second control unit, making the second control unit unable to display the status of the machine tool and the first control unit on the image display device, the first light-emitting portion notifies the status of the machine tool by emission of light and the second light-emitting portion notifies by emission of light that an anomaly has occurred in the second control unit.

Numerical control apparatus

A numerical controller of the present invention is a numerical controller for controlling a machine having two or more paths based on a machining program for a single path in which two or more tools are moved in a radial direction of the workpiece and a direction parallel to the axis of rotation to perform cutting, and includes path assignment means for dividing the machining program into cutting motion groups by using rapid motions as delimiters, assigning the cutting motion groups which are divided to the two or more paths, and generating path assignment information in which the cutting motion groups which are assigned are overlapped between a cutting motion group located earlier on the machining program and a cutting motion group located later such that a cutting position by the cutting motion group located later does not overtake a cutting position by the cutting motion group located earlier.

Numerical controller and simulator thereof

To provide an electronic device and numerical controller that can achieve reduction in work for changing a display state after start-up of an application. A numerical controller comprises: a display control unit that displays one started application or multiple started applications simultaneously on the display unit; an input unit that accepts input through the operation unit and identifies a position on the display unit; a recognition unit that recognizes a figure drawn with the operation unit based on the identified position; and a start-up unit that starts an application associated with the figure and determines an initial display position for the started application based on the position on the display unit where the figure is drawn.

Electronic device and numerical controller

A numerical controller for controlling a machine tool based on a processing program is disclosed. One numerical controller includes: a detecting unit that detects a factor which causes malfunction of the numerical controller; a storing unit that stores information of a block of the processing program which is being executed and information of the factor in association with each other; and a display unit that displays information of the detected factor on a location corresponding to a display location of the block of the processing program.

If a numerical controller detects abnormality of data when data stored in a volatile memory is read out in backup of the data stored in the volatile memory to an external memory, the numerical controller compares an address of an abnormal data, which is detected, with an address stored in a non-volatile memory. When it is determined that the abnormal data which is detected is data of an invalid area, the numerical controller continues the backup processing.

A matrix circuit includes, besides a plurality of common signal lines and a plurality of data signal lines arranged in a matrix, a plurality of monitoring signal lines that allow states of the common signal lines to be monitored. Inputs to the monitoring signal lines during one scan of the common signal lines are stored such that a fault including a ground fault, a short circuit, or disconnection on any of the common signal lines is detected and a location of the faulty common signal line is identified based on the stored inputs to the monitoring signal lines.

Disclosed is a display unit provided with a display control printed circuit board with a circuit configured to generate a display signal for display by a display panel and a fixing metal plate for securing the display control printed circuit board. The display control printed circuit board is provided with identification information reading means for reading identification information of the display panel, a memory stored with set values for generating display signals corresponding to the sizes of a plurality of display panels, and a display controller configured to generate the display signals. The fixing metal plate comprises one or more members electrically connected to the display control printed circuit board and configured to transmit the identification information of the display unit to the display control printed circuit board. The identification information reading means reads a set value for the display panel from the memory, based on the identification information of the display panel derived from the one or more electrically connected members, and sets the set values in the display controller configured to generate the display signals.

Display unit

In a numerical controller, alarm mask information is preset. The alarm mask information is compared with alarm factor information generated by any of control circuits, and depending on a comparison result, an alarm is masked so as not to be delivered to a central processing unit. Thus, depending on the type of the alarm factor information, delivery of an alarm to the central processing unit is omitted when processing need not be stopped.
