A vehicular battery case includes a bottom plate portion having a temperature-adjustment fluid path. The path includes first and second outer path portions being apart from each other; a central path portion positioned therebetween; a plurality of first intermediate path portions positioned between the first outer path portion and the central path portion, being in communication with the first outer path portion at an end on a side near the first outer path portion, and being in communication with the central path portion at an end near the central path portion; and a plurality of second intermediate path portions positioned between the second outer path portion and the central path portion, being in communication with the second outer path portion at an end on a side near the second outer path portion, and being in communication with the central path portion at an end near the central path portion.

Vehicular battery case

A vehicular battery case includes inner and outer bottom plate portions, a lower frame, and a frame body. The outer bottom plate portion is on a lower side of the inner bottom plate portion. The lower frame is between the inner and outer bottom plate portions. The frame body stands upward from outer peripheral portions of the inner and outer bottom plate portions. The frame body includes a lower portion including a first joint surface joined to the inner bottom plate portion and a second joint surface on an outer side of the first joint surface and joined to the outer bottom plate portion. The lower frame includes an upper end portion including a first flange portion including an upper surface facing a lower surface of the inner bottom plate portion. The first flange portion is joined to the lower surface of the inner bottom plate portion.

Vehicular battery case and method for manufacturing vehicular battery case

A mounting structure for a doorframe molding includes an upper edge part that defines an upper side of a window frame of a vehicle door. The mounting structure further includes an engaging part that includes a shaft part and a rib part extending from a lower end of the shaft part in a vehicle front-rear direction or a vehicle width direction, a body part of the doorframe molding, and a bracket that projects from the body part and is engaged with the engaging part. The bracket has a cut-out part that is made by cutting out the bracket. The shaft part is inserted into the cut-out part, and a peripheral part of the cut-out part is engaged with the rib part.

A fuel cell apparatus includes a heat exchange unit including a laminated structure, a water entrance provided at the laminated structure and through which the water from the hot water storage unit flows into the laminated structure, and a water exit provided at the laminated structure and through which the water is discharged out of the laminated structure after the water passes through the laminated structure. The laminated structure is integrally formed into lamination by a heat exchanger for the fuel cell cooling water for recovering heat in the fuel cell cooling water and at least any one of a first heat exchanger for eliminating moisture contained in the fuel-containing material through the heat exchange, a second heat exchanger for eliminating moisture contained in a fuel off-gas through the heat exchange, and a third heat exchanger for eliminating moisture contained in an air off-gas through the heat exchange.

Fuel cell apparatus

A fuel cell which provides less gas leakage, no deformation of the electrodes, and low producing cost is formed of a plurality of electrode units, each having an oxidant electrode, a fuel electrode, and a solid polymer electrolyte membrane sandwiched by the oxidant and fuel electrodes. The solid polymer electrolyte membrane has a larger area than the oxidant and fluid electrodes, and has an electrode contacting portion and an outer peripheral portion projecting from the electrode contacting portion. A gasket covers the outer peripheral portion of the solid polymer electrolyte membrane. A plurality of separators separates the electrode units, the electrode units and separators being stacked to form a fuel cell.

Fuel cell with reduced gas leakage

A fuel cell is formed as a stack of a plurality of unit cells, each unit cell including an electrode unit held by separators, each electrode unit including a solid polymer electrolyte membrane held by a pair of electrodes. Fluid passages extend through the stack in a stacking direction of the stack. An insulating supply-discharge member having a fluid passage communicates with at least one of the fluid passages extending through the stack. A current collection member is held between the supply-discharge member and the stack. An isolating element is positioned to fluidically isolate the current collection member from a fluid in the fluid passage of the supply-discharge member and from the fluid passages extending through the stack. The fuel cell has high reliability and high generating efficiency, and can be produced at low cost.

Fuel cell

A lift truck having a mast structure for supporting a liftable implement, a pair of lift cylinders for lifting the implement, and a mast support for supporting the mast structure on a front axle of a vehicle body. The mast structure includes a pair of masts extending substantially vertically and a cross beam for connecting the lower ends of the masts. The mast support includes a pair of support bodies fixed to one of the masts and the cross beam at a first fastened section. The mast support further includes a pair of brackets, each bracket being fixed to one of the support bodies at a second fastened section and connected to the front axle. Each cylinder is located adjacent to a corresponding one of the brackets and is located behind the corresponding one of the masts. The structure allows for simplified manufacture.

A variable displacement compressor includes a housing having therein a space, a rotor eccentrically disposed in the space of the housing so as to define a compression chamber and an intake chamber in the housing, a bypass passage formed in the housing for establishing fluid communication between the compression chamber and the intake chamber and being in the form of a slot, and a device for opening and closing the bypass passage which is movable depending on a pressure in the intake chamber in a direction perpendicular to the bypass passage.

Variable displacement compressor

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of tube elements, and a plurality of fins which are alternately stacked together with the tube elements. A tank element is disposed on both sides of the tube elements. At least one of the tank elements is formed of brazing materials and comprises a pair of plates which are U-shaped in cross-section and form an inner space. A partition plate is positioned in the inner space and divides the inner space into a first space adjacent the tube elements and a second space separated from the tube elements by the first space. The partition plate is also provided with a penetrating hole. Each of the tube elements contain at least first and second coolant flow passages. The first coolant flow passages extend through the penetrating holes and into the second space, and the second coolant flow passages extend into the first passage.

Heat exchanger

A rotary compressor includes a support member for supporting a revolution piston while preventing rotary movement thereof with respect to its axis, and at least two sliding blades provided in the revolution piston. Both blades are biased against a surrounding cylinder by a one-piece spring. The maximum volume of the chamber is larger than the conventional chamber due to reciprocal movement of the slidable blades. The blades are positioned or rest at almost the same position in the radial direction of the revolution piston. Therefore, any inertia which effects the spring due to the sliding blades is very small. Thus, the sliding blades press the cylinder with almost constant force which is predetermined by the spring, even if the revolution piston changes the rotational speed thereof.

Compressor having an orbital rotor with parallel linkage and spring

A compressor suitable for use in a vehicle cooling system. The compressor includes a cylinder having a cylindrical inner wall surface, a rotor supported by a crankshaft having an eccentric portion in the cylinder. A pair of vanes are carried at diametrically opposed positions by the rotor to extend in a radial direction, each of the vanes having a radially outward edge which is in sliding contact with the inner wall surface of the cylinder. End plates are secured to the cylinder at the axially opposite ends of the cylinder. A link mechanism is provided between the rotor and at least one of the end plates so that the rotor conducts a reciprocating angular movement in an angular range in response to a rotation of the crankshaft. The inner wall surface of the cylinder, the vanes and the end plates define working chambers of which volumes are variable in response to the angular movement of the rotor. An auxilliary plate is provided at an axially inner side of one of the end plates and having bypass ports for bridging the working chambers at the opposite sides of the vane when the vane moves on the bypass ports, an actuating mechanism for rotating the auxilliary plate with respect to the cylinder for changing cicumferential position of the bypass ports with respect to the angular range of the angular movement of the rotor so that the effective stroke of the compressor is changed.

Variable capacity compressor

A compressor arrangement is provided with an eccentrically controlled slidable vane. The vane is movable to release excessive pressure build-up so as to eliminate requirements for a safety valve.

A seat structure for automobiles includes a pair of seat hinges provided at both side of the seat and a connecting member disposed between the seat hinges for connecting them. The seat structure further includes a support member on the connecting member for securing seat cushion to the seat hinges.

Seat structure for vehicles

A seat adjusting apparatus having a main frame assembly and a seat assembly. The main frame assembly includes a first frame and a backrest, while the seat assembly inlcudes a second frame and a seat. Devices are provided for slidably mounting the first frame, as well as movably mounting the second frame on the first frame. Further, the seating adjusting apparatus includes components, which are responsive to the sliding movement of the first frame in a first direction through a first distance for moving the second frame relative to the first frame in opposite direction through a distance less than the first distance.
