An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of recording liquid cartridges, a cartridge holder, and a cover. The plurality of recording liquid cartridges contain recording liquids of colors different from each other. The cartridge holder holds the plurality of recording liquid cartridges in the apparatus. The cover includes a see-through portion through which the plurality of recording liquid cartridges are visible, and encloses the plurality of recording liquid cartridges held by the cartridge holder inside the apparatus. The cover is opened to allow an operator access to exchange each of the plurality of recording liquid cartridges.

A cigarette testing apparatus includes a ventilation-characteristic measuring section having a ventilation vessel which is disposed horizontally so as to reduce the vertical dimension of the apparatus. A cigarette is supplied in a horizontal position from a cigarette supplying section to a weight measuring section where the cigarette weight is measured. The cigarette ejected therefrom is transferred to a circumference measuring section, a ventilation-characteristic measuring section and a length/hardness measuring section in this order in a condition that the horizontal position is kept unchanged. In these sections, the circumference, ventilation characteristic, length and hardness of the cigarette are measured in sequence.

An image forming apparatus includes an open interior space that retains ejected printed sheets. Connecting metal fittings for resistance welder comprise receiver metal fittings connected to transformer side and clamping metal fittings connected to a resistance welding gun side. The receiver metal fittings include terminal strips and power supply connecting plates, both provided on the transformer side and fixed thereon, and a pair of rotatable clamping handles having stopping cylinders and stopping pins both provided on a handle lever. The second metal fittings include a shaft lever penetrating the terminal strips on the welding gun side and being inserted into notched grooves formed in tips of the power supply connecting plates, spring sockets being slidably inserted into both ends of the shaft lever, plate springs disposed between the spring sockets and power supply connecting plates, and a cam having stopping levers composed of stopping hooks formed on the tips thereof, and fixed thereon and adapted to make contact with the spring sockets. Clamping between both the metal fittings and clamping between the terminal plates and the power supply connecting plates can be simultaneously accomplished by the pair of handles.

A primary cable apparatus for a robot welding gun having a cable including a pair of conductors operatively connected to a welding power source, a grounding conductor, a shield wire surrounding the pair of conductors and the grounding conductor and an insulation coating operatively positioned around the shield wire. A first connector is operatively mounted on one end of the cable for connection to the welding power source and includes terminals connected to the conductors. A second connector is provided for detecting a disorder having a terminal operatively connected to the grounding conductor and a terminal connected to the shield wire for detecting damage to the insulation coating of the cable. A disorder detector is operatively connected to the terminals of the second connector and includes a circuit breaker interposed in a welding power circuit which is responsive to an output of the disorder detector.
