A weld line formed by injection molding of a sealing member is formed at a circumferential position out of deepest portions of axial grooves, which form thinned portions of the sealing member (optimally, in a region of a cylindrical surface between the axial grooves in a circumferential direction). Thus, the sealing member is prevented from being provided with parts having locally markedly low strength, and hence damage to be caused by press-fitting is prevented.

Method of injection molding a sealing member for a fluid dynamic bearing

The invention provides a resin component used within a memory disk drive device and a highly reliable memory disk drive device using the resin component, the resin component having excellent flame resistance and minimal outgas. A resin component used inside a memory disk drive device (), the resin component being an insulating bushing for protecting a lead of a motor () when the lead is connected to a circuit board; a carriage () being molded integrally with a coil for driving a swing arm () provided with a pickup head () for reading or writing information on a memory disk on a distal end thereof, and the carriage adapted for balancing the weight of the swing arm (); or a ramp () for retracting the pickup head () when the memory disk stops.

Memory disk drive device and resin component therefor

A fluid dynamic bearing device which can exhibit high bearing performance is provided at low costs by forming a highly accurate bearing gap. At least a region in the outer circumferential surface of a shaft which faces the radial bearing gap is constituted of an electroformed part, and the region of the shaft excluding the electroformed part is constituted of a resin portion.

A fluid dynamic bearing device which exhibits high bearing performance at low cost has a highly accurate bearing gap. At least a region in the outer circumferential surface of a shaft, which faces the radial bearing gap, is constituted of an electroformed part, and the region of the shaft excluding the electroformed part is constituted of a resin portion.

A flatness of a part of a component formed of a resin material that faces a thrust bearing gap is easily increased. A housing () is injection-molded using a resin material and has a bottomed-cylindrical shape integrally including a cylindrical side portion () and a flat bottom portion (). The resin material to be used for the injection molding of the housing () contains, as filler, a reinforcing fiber having a fiber diameter of 6 to 8 &#x3bc;m and an aspect ratio of 10 to 40.

The object is to provide a reclining device for a seat such as an automotive seat including a differential transmission mechanism (Taumel mechanism) which makes it possible to eliminate precision machining of the inner surface of an external gear into which a slide bearing is pressed, in which the freedom of design of the reclining device is not restricted by the standards of a bearing bush, and which can be manufactured at a low cost. The reclining device includes a differential transmission mechanism for adjusting the opening angle of a hinge through which the seating portion and the backrest portion of the seat are coupled together. The differential transmission mechanism includes an internal gear and an external gear having a slightly smaller number of teeth than the internal gear and meshing with the internal gear. An arcuate gap is defined between a shaft hole of the external gear and a small-diameter portion of a cam integral with a shaft of the internal gear. A pair of wedge-shaped pieces and are received in the arcuate gap such that their narrow ends and face in opposite directions to each other. At least the outer surfaces and of the wedge-shaped pieces and, which serve as frictional contact surfaces when the wedge-shaped pieces and are pushed by the cam integral with the shaft of the internal gear and slide in the arcuate gap, are each made of a low-friction sliding material.

Seat reclining device

An oil-submerged sliding member which has a good sealability and wear resistance and low attack to the mating member and which can be used with either a soft or a non-soft mating member. It is made from a resin composition comprising 30-88% by weight of a crosslinked polyallylene sulfide resin having a melt viscosity of 2000-5000 poise at 300.degree. C., 10-45% by weight of a carbon fiber, and 2-25% by weight of recycled polytetrafluoroethylene resin powder, and if required, not more than 10% by weight of molybdenum disulfide. Also, oil seal rings comprising the oil-submerged sliding member.
