An endoscope inspection system includes an endoscope inspection apparatus and a package that packages an endoscope. The endoscope inspection apparatus includes a communication connector and a processor. The processor drives an image pickup device circuit of the endoscope to receive a response signal, determines based on the response signal whether a status of an image pickup device circuit is good or poor, and notifies a result of determination. The package includes a first fixing shape portion that fixes the packaged endoscope connector and a first fitting shape portion fitted with the communication connector such that an endoscope-side communication terminal of the fixed endoscope connector is electrically connected to an inspection apparatus-side communication terminal of the communication connector.

An endoscope connector includes: a fitting portion that has a cylindrical shape, and electrically connects an endoscope for observation of a subject to an external apparatus, the external apparatus processing information of the observed subject; a planar part provided on at least a portion of the cylindrical shape of the fitting portion; and an electroconductive part that is provided to be electrically conductive on the planar part and performs communication with the external apparatus.

Connector

The present invention provides a receptacle connector including: a grounding portion configured to ground a connection object; and a ground connection terminal that is configured to be switchably held in a first state in which the ground connection terminal is electrically separated from the grounding portion, or in a second state in which the ground connection terminal is electrically brought into conduction with the grounding portion. The ground connection terminal is switched between the first state and the second state in operative association with interlining of the plug connector and the fitting portion. In the first state, the grounding terminal and the grounding portion are electrically separated. In the second state, the grounding terminal and the grounding portion are electrically brought into conduction with each other through the ground connection terminal.

Receptacle connector

A detecting apparatus includes: a change-over switch for switching on/off display of a scope model on a liquid crystal monitor; a position calculating portion for calculating respective positions of source coils; a scope model generating portion for generating a scope model of an electronic endoscope based on the respective positions of the source coils calculated by the position calculating portion; and a selector for selectively outputting to the liquid crystal monitor a display-pause-time image stored in a display-pause-time image storing portion and a scope model image from the scope model generating portion; and a control portion for controlling each of these portions. The detecting apparatus thus displays an insertion shape of the endoscope at a timing as needed.

A motion guide device is able to damp a moving block from vibrating in a direction perpendicular to an axis of a raceway rail. A damping plate with a surface facing a surface of a raceway is provided at a moving block body. The surface of the damping plate is set to be in contact with the raceway rail or is set such that a gap between its surface of the raceway rail is as close to zero as possible. When vibration occurs from the raceway rail or the moving block, the surface of the raceway rail and the surface of the damping plate come into contact with each other. This brings about change in a spring constant of the motion guide device in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the raceway.

Endoscope inserted-shape detecting apparatus

The invention relates to a ball screw device in which a screw shaft and a nut member are threadedly engaged with each other through a number of balls. In such a ball screw device, an inner surface of a cover plate contacting an end surface of a nut main body is provided with a projecting return piece adapted to be fit-engaged with a recess cut in an inner peripheral surface of the nut main body, the return piece being provided with a scoop portion for dislodging the balls from the ball rolling groove of the screw shaft and a direction switching passage for guiding the dislodged balls to the entrance of a ball return hole. Ball screw device

A source coil drive circuit section of an endoscope shape detection device includes, an oscillator that generates a sine wave and an amplifier that amplifies the sine wave and generates (drives) an alternating magnetic field to source coils through a switch section. The switch section is configured to switch a direct current to an output of the amplifier and supply to the source coils. In the source coil drive circuit section, a direct current resistance value detection section for measuring a direct current resistance value of the source coils by voltage drop when the switch section is supplying the direct current to the source coils is provided.
