An advertisement distribution apparatus according to an embodiment includes a user information table, a determining unit, a request unit, and a distribution unit. The user information table stores user information about a user. When the advertisement distribution apparatus is accessed by a user terminal, the determining unit determines whether the user information of the user of the user terminal has been stored in the user information table. When the determining unit determines that the user information has not been stored in the storage unit, the request unit requests an information provision apparatus to transmit the user information. When the determining unit determines that the user information has not been stored in the storage unit, the distribution unit distributes advertisement content to the user terminal using the user information which is acquired from the information provision apparatus by the request unit.

Method for separating and transferring IC chips

A method for separating a multiple number of semiconductor devices or semiconductor integrated circuits from a wafer on which the multiple number of semiconductor devices or semiconductor integrated circuits are formed is provided. The method includes forming a mask pattern on a surface of the wafer, and separating each of the semiconductor devices or semiconductor integrated circuits along the mask pattern formed on the surface of the wafer. One group of separated semiconductor devices or semiconductor integrated circuits has a distinguishable shape from another group of separated semiconductor devices or semiconductor integrated circuits.

Provided are frame members from which a structure can be efficiently assembled, and a structure using the frame members. On a surface of a vertical frame member, there are printed a position identification mark (sectional shape mark) showing the position where a horizontal frame memberis to be butted, a nut position identification mark N showing the mounting position of a nutwhich is to be inserted into a guide groove, and a position identification mark showing the mounting position of a bracket. A computer terminal connected to a manufacturing apparatus as an object of the maintenance management is connected to a server machine providing a maintenance management service by a network, enabling bi-directional communication. The computer terminal transmits maintenance information including a kind of a maintenance method executed at the customer side to the server machine. The server machine acquires the kind of the maintenance method from the maintenance information received from the computer terminal, retrieves points corresponding to the kind of the maintenance method, and stores the retrieved points in a maintenance point storage unit. More points are set for more time consuming maintenance. This can encourage the customer to perform more time consuming maintenance on the manufacturing apparatus in order to obtain more points.

A worker management system, which includes a plantdivided into a plurality of work areas each in correspondence to specific task contents, a databasehaving stored therein task identification information correlating each work areawith contents of tasks performed therein and worker detection sensorsinstalled in each work area, identifies the specific work area where a worker is currently located based upon outputs from the worker detection means and then identifies the task currently performed by the worker based upon the task identification information. Based upon the current task thus identified, a decision is made as to whether the worker should continue the current task or be assigned a new task and an instruction for task execution is issued to the worker. Therefore the identification of current tasks, the assignment of a new task and the task reassignment are facilitated to improve the work efficiency.

The computer terminal transmits status information on an apparatus as an object of the maintenance management to the server machine in response to a status information transmission request received from a server at every predetermined interval. The server machine includes a status point information management database for storing status points generated according to status information and determines whether status information has been received at every predetermined interval. Each time it is determined that status information is received, a predetermined point is added so as to update the status points of the status point information management database. This can encourage a customer to perform maintenance by him/herself and reduce workload of a serviceman.

A parts management system which is capable of preventing use of a non-conforming part. A first computer for a user has component parts for an apparatus, delivered to the user. A second computer for a manufacturer is connected via a communication network to the first computer, and has a database provided therein which includes a list having fields for a plurality of kinds of management data for the apparatus component parts in association with each of ID numbers of the apparatus component parts. In the second computer, the management data on the apparatus component parts is acquired from the first computer via the communication network, and the acquired management data is compared with management data within the database.
